Perfectly situatedPosted May 18, 2015
Location: Very easy to get around and walking distance from the main centre, harbour and archaelogical site.
I have been to this hotel several times and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. On my latest visit the weather was perfect and as usual the staff were extremely helpful.

Happy honeymoonPosted May 3, 2015
Pros: The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel had great facilities.
Cons: Heating the private pools!
Location: The hotel is very close to central Pafos. We visited the mosaics during our week and they were magnificent.
We stayed in a junior suite with a private pool for a week and had a great time.

Charging for wifiPosted May 3, 2015
A very good hotel but it was a shame that all the good points and there are many were overshadowed by being charged for wifi. Many hotels now provide free wifi and give excellent connection and speeds. To make a charge and not be able to deliver a satisfactory wifi connection is wrong. Worse when you are dismissed at reception with " it's there hotel policy just added to the disappointment. I wifi not important to you then this is a very good hotel to stay. I you want good wifi think again

Nice hotel close to good restaurantsPosted Apr 14, 2015
Hotel is well located. About 20 minute walk to port but numerous good quality restaurants within 5 minute walk. We stayed in Early April so didn't use pool much although plenty of seating and large pool area. Also had heated indoor pool. Breakfast buffet was good selection of hot and cold foods. Staff were generally very friendly. Only major downside was the heat in the room. Air conditioning is not switched on until May. Probably worth considering extra for sea view to avoid having to sleep with door open on roadside which we experienced having booked a standard room. Started to get quite crowded as neared Easter but a good quality hotel overall.

Great place to stay. We are young travellers and the hotel caters for the older crowd and families. Still we had a great stay and would recommend

Beautiful, clean, friendly and comfortable. The TopsPosted Mar 30, 2015
Stayed for 3 weeks in Superior Sea View. Well worth the extra!. Good quality food with dining in the Zephyr Room a treat. Enjoyed the Bowling facilities which are first class. plenty to do and just a short bus ride (1.50 euros) into the harbour and Paphos town.

Had a lovely time despite the weather. We had booked a superior room with sea view and and could not fault a single thing. The room was great and the food was excellent with plenty to choose from. We had a very relaxing time.

Service second to nonePosted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: The general ambience, very clean entrance and lounges. Vast areas around the pools.
Cons: There is not a lot which can be done about the weather!
Location: An easy stroll to the port where there are enough bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Bus to Paphos available from outside the hotel
The staff are a credit to this hotel management. They give the impression they really do care and when the term 'you are welcome' is used it is truly meant. The management team are introduced to all and are very visible throughout the day, every day. My wife has no choice but to follow a strict gluten free diet. No problem in The Athena Beach. Every day a chef led her along the serveries pointing out 'good, no good'. She ate well! Entertainment is very much geared towards the older clients but, as they are by far in the majority, so it should be. Clearly, The Athena Beach is marketed toward the more mature client, and as am I heading in that direction myself, as indeed we all are, you will not hear me complaining. We will return, not every year, but we most certainly intend returning.

Wonderful hotel on the sea frontPosted Feb 12, 2015
Pros: The friendly and efficient staff. The calm atmosphere in the hotel.
Cons: This is purely a personal comment - I did not like the use of automatic air freshener in the gym. It was inappropriate caused problems for my asthma
Location: Perfect, sea front. Easy walk into town
A very relaxing stay which is exactly what I was looking for. All the staff are so lovely and provide for all your needs.

Constantinou Bros Athena Beach HotelPosted Feb 1, 2015 on Hotels.com
Hotel was good. Food was of a good standard, buffet style. Breakfast was excellent, evening meal was themed but could have could have always been a bit hotter. Easy to get around because of the regular bus service stopping outside.
