Nice hotel close to Gare MontparnassePosted Jul 14, 2014
We usually stay at the Concorde Montparnasse whenever we need to catch a train at the Gare Montparnasse. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean with free Wifi. The train station is really close, just at the bottom of the street.

Paris trip with my daughterPosted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Friendly. Clean. Good standard room and reception areas
Cons: Like everywhere else in Paris that I went to - the beer and wine seemed very expensive
Location: La France opposite for Breakfast. Good Jazz bar - Le Journal - just down the road. Use main station next to hotel to get to the metro. Travellators!
As I was travelling with my 16 year old daughter I requested a decent sized room with twin - rather than double - beds, which is exactly what we got. The room was clean and felt quite modern and had a well stocked mini-bar (which we did not use) a modern flat screen TV mounted on the wall and a safe. We faced into the internal courtyard which meant the room was very quiet and peaceful. I suspect the rooms at the front of the hotel could be quite noisy. Our towels were actually all changed daily during our 3 day stay and the room and bathroom were always immaculately clean. My one grumble was the price of their breakfast although we quickly found that there is a Restaurant/Bar over the road (La France) which does a traditional Continental Pain/Croissant type breakfast and a decent pot of tea for a fraction of the price. We became regulars! The hotel staff were all courteous and friendly and to be honest I felt that for the price we paid we had a very good experience overall.

Nice lobby yields, not so nice rooms.Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: location is convenient to train station and bus to Charles de Gaulle airport
Cons: Update it.
Pretty disappointed with the overall experience at this hotel. The lobby/café/restaurant are all quite nice but the room was not up to the same level. Checked into first room which stunk of cigarette smoke (despite hotel being smoke free). They kindly changed my room and the new one was fine though poorly configured (a small space between bed and desk through which I tried to wedge my suitcase). Seemed a bit on the dirty side and a bit "tired"...carpet threads showing, hallway looking worn out, etc. I have stayed at other hotels nearby that have been much nicer for a same price. Definitely won't go back here.

FlawlessPosted Jun 24, 2014
Hotel staff and facilities were all great, the only downside was the "High speed wifi" wasn't high speed at all. Other then that though it's a great hotel and I highly recommend staying there.

Unpleasant staff and poor Internet accessPosted Jun 21, 2014
While the hotel was nice and clean with comfortable beds, for a 4 star hotel, the staff was often quite RUDE and seemed annoyed. There was a taxi strike while we were there and one of the hotel staff was VERY UNHELPFUL. Moreover, the wifi was quite poor and I was only able to connect 1 time of 2 and the connection was very slow. All in all, for a 4 star hotel, it was quite disappointing.

DisappointingPosted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: It is a great location and very easy to get to from CDG and Orly. The restaurant was very good and the staff friendly and attentive.
Cons: Why does internet have to be so complicated? This is not the only hotel with poor access but given the cost you would expect better.
The bed was not comfortable, the wireless intermittent at best and the AC would not cool below 23 C.

Brilliant staffPosted Jun 17, 2014
Had a lovely time here, quite close to Eiffel Tower, room a bit small but pleasant, the reception staff really made it special though especially the lady who worked evenings she was so helpfull and friendly which was a blessing on our first time in Paris :)
