the reception guy is so rude. he didn't accept an early checkin (between 13:00 and 14:00) the cleaning service women is so cute. no toilet in the loby. they are renovating the hotel so it bothers the customers a little bit but that's OK.

The bedroom was a bit small for my family as we were three staying and there was not much room in it. However, the bedroom was always very well cleaned and there were plenty of places to eat or have a coffee around plus a tube station next door.

Arrived at 3pm to be told that our room was cancelled as our card payment had been abandoned when it had been presented for payment at 11am (obviously as payment , card not present requires authorisation). As checkin was only permitted after 2pm, we asked why the payment had been processed before we arrived and were told it was normal practice. We were then informed that there were no rooms available. While we were remonstrating another couple arrived who had booked a room 10 minutes earlier. It was clear that the hotel had realised an opportunity to sell the rooms at a higher price and was cashing in by cancelling bookings made previously. After 20 minutes and several threats, the hotel found that they had "just" had a cancellation and could offer us a room, although inferior to the one we had booked FOR THE SAME PRICE. We then proceeded to pay with the exact card that they said had been refused and of course it was accepted. Total scam, profiteering as they knew that rooms were in huge demand on match day at Stade de France. Room was horrid. Balcony disgustingly filthy. Taps loose, paper peeling from walls. Room and bed were tiny. Will never stay here again. Photos available if required. Expedia should remove them from their booking platform.

The room seemed to be ggod, all refurbished, it's my second time in the hotel for 2-3 days. Then, it result the room had flies and it was visible on my little daugther's bed the morning we leave, there were small, medium and BIG BUGS! and blod from bites. It was terrible, disgusting and we were very worried I made photos, showed to front Desk adn they remain as achaimed but said "in Paris is common it can happen" HOW COME!! you shoudl close that facolity.

Good location, close to metro stations. Room was okay, good amount of space for 3 adults. However there was no tea or coffee. No iron. No nice views. Fridge door was broken, as was the safe. Service was okay, certain staff members were rude & unhelpul but others were polite.

BED BUGS!!!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! BED BUGS!!!!! We booked the mirific hotel in Paris for 5 days. We have been traveling throughout the UK and Europe for 3 weeks. The pictures made the hotel look like it was clean and updated. After checking in and the elevated only working with the receptionis calling it for us we went into the room. I always check every hotel for bed bugs before I get comfortable. As soon as I pulled back the covers there was evidence of bed bugs. The one I found was dead but I left nonetheless. I did not even look at what the bathroom looked like! I complained to the front desk and all of a sudden she didn't understand what I was saying. Besides losing one day I was able to get a refund for the rest of my stay thanks to hotels.com! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Find anything other than the merific opera!

Nice location, close to a metro station and many restaurants y grocery shops. The telephone shower head didn't stay in place, which made showering a bit uncomfortable. A couple of light bulbs were burned. Personnel was nice, Wi-Fi wasn't working the first night but afterwards it was okay.

The hotel is in a good location. Around 25 min on the bus to each touristic attraction. However, the hotel itself it’s a bit pricey for what it is but I guess its just the way Paris is. I must say that I don’t think the toilet was cleaned before we got there. I was extremely disappointed to find a bit of poop in the toilet! Although the heating was on at night for couple of hours, during sleep time I did feel the cold, as they only provide a thin blanket to cover up. Not to mention that on our leaving day, we almost got stuck in the elevator. They need to look into it as I believe that it doesn’t function how it should do! Overall was ok, as we didn’t spent much time in the hotel but I wouldn’t go back again.

The staff were very friendly, and made our stay a good one. The room was mostly clean and quiet. With the windows closed, noise was almost non-existent. We liked the location, as it was close to transport and many good restaurant options. We were able to check in early, which is always a plus in our book! Would be happy to stay here again.

The hotel didn’t really resemble what was online. There was 3 or so ‘sections’ of the hotel. (I booked 5 rooms for a business trip so saw the variety). Some were given triple rooms with single beds, others double beds that were too short and your feet hang out the bottom. The bathroom was half dirty / half falling apart. But we were only there for a few hours each night so it was tolerable. Business trip, fine - romantics weekend in Paris, you’re better off in a tent.

Enjoyed the location for the price. Wanted to be farther away from center of the city. The owner sat down with us to chat over wine in the courtyard. Breakfast is pretty decent if youre not a big eater. If youre an American and like your bacin, grits and eggs, then you may want to find something else. This hotel has boiled eggs, slices of good ham and cheese, very fresh croissants, juices and bread. Coffee is nothing spectacular but ok. Room was alittle tough to get to, took an elevator,to 3td floor, exited and went up a very narrow spiral suitcase for about 12 steps. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Rooms are tight but this is Europe. If youre on a budget this is a decent bang for your buck.

Overall hotel cleanliness and decor is very nice. However, the comfort wasn't so great. Stayed for two nights, the first night the fire alarm went off at 6am we made our way out of the room and as soon as we got to the reception we was told it was a false alarm and to go back to bed the alarm continued for another 5-10mins. We was now wide awake. On our second night which was our final night at 8am we had the house keeping knocking to clean our room. The ladies English wasn't so good as I tried to explain that we check out today so we will not need housekeeping. Other than getting woken up overall experience was great.

A nice hotel in the city centre with a lower price compared to the other ones. The mattress is comfortable. However my room might need some renovation. There is no phone in the room. The main light was cutting (on & off). Simple shower make the bathroom very wet and water goes everywhere. I booked for a double bed but they gave me a twin bed. I recommend it for very short stay.

Great location, decent place
The hotel is nicely located on a street with many restaurants and shops and near Metro stops. It is comfortable and pleasant. It's hard to regulate the heat and the bathroom was somewhat poorly designed. It's easy to get water on the floor from the shower because of the design of the partition and you feel cramped when on the toilet because it's so close to the wall and your knees hit the toilet paper holder. Those are fairly minor though. If you can accept those, and open a window to let the heat out, then the place works well.

I don't know about 5 star hotel in Paris, but this hotel wasn't professional at all, the front desk person wasn't friendly. We booked a 3 person room, from the picture it looked like what Expedia has posted, but the actual room is in the back building with no elevator, but the spiral staircase instead. The room is small with 3 twin beds and 3 set of towels. I went back and asked the front desk, and the reply I got was 'You paid small price, you get small room!' I understand the concept of you get what you paid for, but this is pretty much a scam. Also, wifi didn't work the whole 3 days we stayed there on top of that. So I wouldn't recommend this hotel (more like a hostel to me) to anyone.

Modernized hotel, exceeded expectations
The area is not touristic but pretty safe and busy with lots of cheap housewares and local clothing shops, and fast food. I love to be with the locals! I had a renovated room which was almost 4 star quality except no tea/coffee in room. They have a machine in the lobby 1.50 euros ..good hot chocolate if u don’t want their breakfast. Lady at the desk was nice- be nice to her and she’s lovely! ;-). Shower was different as you twist and pull to the side- good thing I asked!

They just don't care.
This place is a paradox. They have tried to shape a really torn hotel up but the result is far from perfect. Half of the room I stayed in was clad in new materials, half of it in a really shabby condition. Nothing really works, the AC obviously did not, the knob on the radiator fell off when adjusting the heat, the power outlets next to the bed fell off when unplugging the charger. Bathroom was ok, but the toilet brush had. It been changed for a couple of years, looking pretty nasty. Location is nice and if you can get a low price it is probably an ok stay if you're on a budget.
