Nice place close to the city

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, easy access to the city.
Cons: The bedroom requires a separate air condition unit. The wifi speed needs to be upgraded massively.
Location: Victoria Zoo is very close. Victoria Park town has everything you need from groceries to various cuisine restaurants. Centerlink is very close.
Overall we had a wonderful experience with Assured Waterside apartments. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very neat and clean and utensil were clean to use immediately. The hotel is very close to the city which is easily accessible. The only drawback that we felt was the air conditioning, which has a very big unit in the hall but is not sufficient for the bedroom.

A Not So Great Stays, With An Expensive Price Poin

Posted Oct 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
The positive of this hotel is probably the only good thing about it. The negative list goes on and on. Firstly, when we came to the hotel, there were no reception after 7pm. We have to find our way to the small key box ourself, to find our room. And because we book through hotels.com we cannot get any refund. Since the apartment building is only 3 levels, there is no lift. So we have to carry all our baggages up 3 levels. This may be a big problem if you travel with lots of bags or with elderly. From there, we have a problem with the bedroom not having air conditioning, despite the advertising for the hotel says otherwise. Due to this, we have to run the airconditioning on the living room all the time, which make the living room freezing cold to be in and very uncomfortable. Regarding the cleanliness of the room, it is clean. However the hotel is pretty old. The oven is very dirty, the toaster machine has rust on them, the bathroom looks like a hotel in the 90's My overall impression with this hotel is a negative impression. I think this is because the cost of the room is not very cheap in comparison to other much better hotel. With an extra 100 dollar per night, you can stay at fraiser suites, which is really new hotel and right next to the cbd.

holiday stay

Pros: Proximity to Mends Street
Cons: Second tv in the main bedroom Hot water system that doesn't rattle every time you turn on the hot tap Modernise the bathroom
Overpriced We would describe our experience of a family room as fairly basic for the price. Other than location, the hotel has nothing to offer. It was clean and tidy and had new beds which were comfortable. But we expect a little more for our money than one bathroom, one tv, a rattling hot water system, stairs only access, a dryer that barely worked, and a single split air conditioner for the entire apartment.
