Happy CustomerPosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: I loved the customer service. We were always greeted with friendly hellos! Every time I am in the Phoenix area I am staying here! Very satisfied!
Cons: I wish there was a restaurant, not just the cafe.
Location: It was in a good area, although there wasn't a nice restaurant onsite, there were plenty of places to eat in the surrounding area
The pool was incredible I also liked how they had a separate pool for adults! The staff was great, everyone we came in contact with from pool staff, maintenance, front desk, gift shop, cafe, management; they were all very warming and helpful. Very nice rooms and I would recommend this resort to everyone!

Timeshare or notPosted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The Lagoon pool was fantastic. the Adult pool has the bar at it as well as food.
Cons: More hooks or shelves in bathroom. The towels were on the other side of the room from the shower. put a hook for towels by the shower!
We made our reservations through Expedia. The problem started when I told her 4 nights and she only booked us 3....We did finally get that resolved with a 30 minute phone call. We arrived to find it a little farther out of town than we thought. Great pool, one just for Adults. The Lagoon pool has a great slide, and is very large. Our first morning we were awaken at 6:45 ( yes we are on vacation) by the construction out side our sliding door . The door was in the bedroom, as we were on the ground floor. Tell me why would they even put us in that room? It's August in Arizona, not the most popular time of year to be there and the place was I'm guessing 1/10 full! Of course they moved us but only to the other side of the construction area. Not as bad. The hotel is beautiful, I'm guessing the timeshare part is where you get the good rooms. The layout is very confusing. We had a lot of crickets in our room. Not sure how they were getting in the windows would not open and the door had a great seal on it. I would tell them to put more hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. The washer/dryer in room was great, even had laundry soap in the room. full kitchen included dishwasher. The staff didn't seem to know how to do much of anything, changing rooms was quite the ordeal. The Concierge area was very helpful to get us a rental car, but told us of a deal with Enterprise that they did not honor. Of course you could have sat through a timeshare presentation for some spa deals.

Pros: The room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: The service could be improved. The bartenders at the adult pool were young and inexperienced.
When we checked in, we were informed that they could not guarantee our last night stay would be in the same room due to separate reservations. They were not able to look ahead a few days to see if the room would be available. On Saturday we checked with the front desk and they told us to pack our stuff Sunday morning and check out and they would try to get us close to our original room. We packed up Sunday morning and before leaving the room, we checked with the front desk and they told us we were able to stay in the same room. We requested new towels since we assumed we were switching rooms. When we got back to the room later that afternoon, new towels still had not been delivered. We requested them again and still no towels within the hour. It was nice having a separate pool for the adults, although the staff did not do a good job keeping the loud profanity from other guests under control. The room was clean and comfortable. We probably would not stay here again.

Nice but noisyPosted Jun 24, 2014
The hotel was lovely and so was the staff. But, there was a lot of loud noise from outside the room and from the floor above. Also, we were only visited once by housekeeping our entire visit to give us extra towels the evening prior to our departure.

Location was perfectPosted May 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
The second floor was noisy, don't know if it was a child or an adult walking hard. During the hard stepping the light fixture in the bedroom rattled.

Very convenient to our family.Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Convenience and beauty.
Cons: The rooms are very dark.
Location: Close to restaurants, Target for groceries, etc.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cibola Vista when we were in AZ for our Grandson's High School graduation. It was beautiful.
I wouldn't recommend staying here.Posted May 20, 2014
Go to check in and they can't find my reservation because I reserved on expedia and there system doesn't automatically link to expedia. Booked over a week in advance. They were apparently booked. Stood there for over an hour with a two and three year old while they tried figuring it out. When I would ask what is going on, they wouldn't communicate but just looked confused. Not a I'm working on this or anything. Two other issues we had: Cockroaches scattering everywhere at night on the sidewalk. How they are not in the units, I'm surprised. The beds are hard. You would think a nicer place would have nicer beds. We come to Phoenix often to visit friends. Thought we would try somewhere new. We will not be returning.
