"The staff is excellent! We enjoyed the hotel, and stayed in one of the Norman Foster-designed rooms. We were a bit frustrated by the complexity of turning the lights on and off, and noisiness of the bed when getting in and out. Flushing the toilet meant putting your entire body weight behind pushing the button and bending way down to do that. Other than those details, we were happy with our stay, and would absolutely return."

"Place was great, love the inside front of the Hotel. Needs to get the smell of smoke of the carpet and in elevator. About a 12-15 min walk to the Bernabeu (loved it). "Loved the room and hotel location; our first time in Madrid and it was a great place to stay and start the day. Hotel was being renovated so the access was not easy but the staff were very helpful. They also spoke good English and gave helpful tips. Room size was big with a good view. Bathroom fittings are a little dated but all very functional. Definitely would stay there again. "
