"By far, OYO Rockssar was the best 2-star hotel we experienced in this 3 week trip in the Philippines from Iloilo to Cebu (OYO in Moalboal cancelled on us last minute so not impressed =(), to Panglao, Coron then back to Manila. It was clean, simple setup, spacious, airconditioning worked and right at the heart of the city, close to the airport for transfers, staff were very helpful with needs re comforts esp when we arrived on a brownout on 40 degree heat. "We had a great stay! Very clean and bed was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was amazing!!! The staff were so helpful coordinating our transportation and helped us get a new tour when our original tour was cancelled. Very satisfied with stay and would go again!"

"5 stars, keeping in mind how inexpensive it is. Clean, AC and hot water work, bug free. The bed was firm like everywhere else I’ve stayed in SE Asia but I found it comfortable. This is run by a very nice family and they were helpful booking me a trip to the underground river and my next leg transportation to El Nido. They also have a couple of good scooters to rent. I paid 500 pesos a day for the scooter. "

"All good, just troubles with check in - they let me wait until 2 pm saying that it is the time that the check in starts even though everywhere is written that it starts at 1 pm, very confusing and annoying to let you wait even though the room was already supposed to be ready!! "Water heater was not working in the first room. Later we got assigned a new room, which is quite dark in the day even though there's a window because the window is facing inside the building. The drainage of the bathroom needs to be cleaned better because there was an unpleasant smell whenever you take a shower. Good thing is the hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle and the staff is friendly. To those with walking inconvenience, there is no elevator in the hotel. "

"The management didn't know about confirm the reservation from hotels.com. But we booked 3 days before and get confirm about reservation. Then next problem our room was not free for 1 night so we must sleep in a small bad cottage. Discount was only free breakfast. Next problem was no tv channels (i choose this hotel because have tv). For wifi you musk ask the stuff to make router on. Then after 30 minutes wifi goes off again. So i asked 7 times per day about wifi... The management (boss) is...

"Fight Club Philippines is the newest, upcoming center to train and to relax. It is nestled in the secluded mountains just north of Puerto Princesa. Beyond the training, the resort is well manicured, an excellent restaurant, infinity pool, games room, and massage facilities. If you've been to the island of Palawan, you'll know that there are rolling black outs and internet connectivity issues. BUT NOT AT FIGHT CLUB PHILIPPINES. The facility has it's own power generator and Starlink internet....
