Location location locationPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: We checked out at 11 but were able to leave our car parked for free and spent day on beach. Showers and changing areas available for use.
Location: Situated right on beach
Checked in for 1 night. The room was a good size. Two double beds. The staff was wonderful

Great location, worn roomsPosted Aug 16, 2014
Cons: Update the rooms and get rid of peeling paint and rust stains
Location: Right on the boardwalk. Access to everything
Right on the beach but there is no pool. Rooms are worn down but clean. We had a "view" of a cement courtyard and the rooms across from us. Not worth the price they charge in the summer

Fabulous hotel on the beachPosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Loved having a changing room downstairs, as we got there way before our check-in time and thus were able to hit the beach immediately with our kids.
Cons: There was a very strong moldy smell in our bathroom - perhaps it was from the shower curtain.
Location: Loved being able to walk outside right onto boardwalk and then walking to the avenue where all the shops and restaurants were.
Loved the clean, spacious room and balcony. Great location at north end of boardwalk. Desk staff very friendly and professional. Plenty of room on beach which was not as packed as beach near center of boardwalk.

Ok hotel for on the beach, but needs updating...Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: We liked that this hotel is right on the beach.
Cons: The hotel needs serious updating all around! The air conditioners in the rooms need to be replaced with quieter ones.
Location: We were pleasantly surprised that there was lots of fun games and rides on the boardwalk for little ones to enjoy.
The hotel is ok if you are just staying for a night or two, but not more than that. The rooms really need serious updating and the air conditioners need to be replaced with quieter ones. We liked that this hotel is right on the beach, but if we had to do over again we would stay at a different hotel.

It's all about the beachPosted Aug 15, 2014
The hotel was fine. Many things about it were average. But, if you are looking for one of the less expensive hotels to stay at that is next to the beach (as my wife was) it's one of your better choices. Besides the location to the beach, the staff was friendly and the parking was fairly easy. As I said, most else was average. Although, the WiFi was terrible for our room. With some hotels it depends where your room is located in proximity to where the hotels strongest signal is.

On the beach but deceiving.Posted Aug 15, 2014
The picture on the ad is of the building next door. Looks like a run down old hotel in a Great location. The rooms are old. Rusty doors that don't close well. Was afraid someone could break in while we were out.

Clean room, very roomy, nice patio on 2 nd fl.Posted Aug 14, 2014
We planned a last minute trip and had no choices. Wanted a pool, no pool. Small old tv but it worked- not there for TV. It's on the beach so , no walking or parking was a plus. Needs updated and air was very noisy but kept cool.my 8 yr old grandson was in heaven, short walk to arcade!

Great locationPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Aside from the location and cleanliness, our room was very quiet.
Cons: We arrived around one o'clock and the clerk said she would call us when the room was ready. We waited for the call, in vain.
Location: Lots of activities for younger folks and great food and drinks for the adults.
Convenience to the beach, but also convenient to nice restaurants. The hotel is clean and nicely laid out.

Poorly maintainedPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: conveniently located on beach
For such high prices, this hotel is poorly maintained. Cheap shower curtain rod fell down; slippery tub had no mat; elevator buttons don't work.

Good location but a tad wornPosted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: Location on the boardwalk
Cons: Furnishings and linens need to be updated
Location: Located right on the boardwalk there was the beach close by, lots of restaraunts, Playland, etc. Perfect family vacation spot.
I booked two adjoining rooms for two nights. I was told that check-in would not be until 4 and as it turned out I could not get into even one of the rooms until then. 4 means almost a lost day but they do have a nice changing room on the first floor and they did let me park my car on their lot at noon. The rooms needed refurbishing. Old quilted spreads need to be chucked for fresher linens. The rooms were clean but we quickly ran out of TP. We also needed more towels. The "ocean View" rooms looked over a courtyard and one could see the sea when on the balcony. The continental breakfast was quit nice with lots of cold food offerings. The staff was very nice!
