“Excellent hotel and great value”

This was a smaller hotel with a great location on Copacabana Beach. The fantastic customer service provided by the hotel could not have been better as everyone was extremely friendly and assisted in every way possible. I plan on returning to Rio some time in the near future and will make an extra effort to book this hotel.

Great hotel, great staff. Very clean, new and in a very safe and convenient location. Stayed in the hotel for a week and will stay again when I go back to Rio.

“Great Hotel”

The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful giving a nice warm welcome and lots of brochures and good advice. Elevators are fast so very easy if your room is on the upper floors (I hate standing waiting for elevators). Buffet breakfast is really good and the location is right opposite the beach. The rooftop terrace has spectacular views and a small splash pool and bar, but the terrace is a bit sterile and could use some tropical palms or plants to soften the contemporary style. Overall a comfortable hotel.

“Excellent view, Really good service, Great room ... what else?”

We was on a family trip, could stay just one day at Rio. The hotel is on a really good location if you like sea view : You can get everything on Copacabana beach. If the view from your room isn't enough, you can go to the open-sky pool on the roof top, from where you can have an amazing scene. The service is really good, the staff here speaks surprisingly well english, unlike a lot of hotel in Brazil. You can really feel that they do their best to let you have a nice trip. Really good hotel for leisure. I would go back there for sure.

“A good find on Copacabana”

This is a very new hotel. Staff is friendly and tries to be efficient. Rooms are clean and functional but a bit small. Breakfast is a very well-stocked buffet of fruits, yogurt, cereals, breads/cakes and scrambled eggs. Front desk is overwhelmed in the a.m. at checkout. For a moderate priced hotel on the beach in Rio, the Arena is an excellent choice.

Searched for Rio de Janeiro hotels only on Expedia. Selected the Arena Copacabana and was extremely satisfied. Location, breakfast, room, price was all great. Definitely recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

“Great deal on Copacabana”

The hotel was clean, ideally located, the staff were very helpful, and the room was just as I expected. The price was considerably lower than many of colleagues paid at nearby hotels with not as fine facilities. For me, I did not need a view of the beach from my room - the view from the rooftop bar was spectacular.

Definitely you have to give credit to those who write the reviews and their experiences. I did that regarding this hotel and was not disapointed. My husband complimented me on the choice and we had the vacation we wanted. The hotel was amazingly clean, the food was excellent, breakfast was a feast, the hotel location was right in front of Copacabana beach, the personnel of the hotel were always friendly and ready to help us, we had a two bedroom, each with a plasma tv, the bathroom big and clean, what else could we ask for? For us, it was like if we were staying in a 4 star hotel.

Extremely satisfied! A perfect combination of convenient location, interior design, and professional staff. Everything is new and well-decorated. Very comfortable room and no problems with internet access. The staff was always professional and attentive. Special kudos to Deborah who made my stay even more enjoyable with her knowledge of local eateries and her prompt and cheerful attention to some special needs I had during my stay.
