Walking distance to conference I was attending. Quick response following the earthquake with updates. Staff visible immediately following the earthquake checking the facility.

Family Trip

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The room was large and accommodating.
Cons: The TV did not work in the front room but the bedroom TV did operate properly
Location: We were close to the University and the city.
Got to experience a 6.1 earthquake during my stay. The morning breakfast buffet was delicious but hard to find a place to sit. The staff was very helpful.

Always a family favorite

A little trouble checking in. The person was trying to tell me he could not take cash for the room and use credit card for incidentals. The manager was too busy to talk to us but learned later he was incorrect. It was embarrassing.

Won't be staying there again.....

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: The rooms around us were quiet.
Cons: You shouldn't have to ask if you read my experience above.
Location: SSF a really industrial part of SSF that no one cares about after dark.....
Had 3 adults and one child. One adult and child tried to sleep on the sofa bed on a paper thin mattress. Asked for some additional blankets and pillows and they were the worst quality I have ever seen. For $350 a night it was a looser never to be repeated again.' Hot water faucet had a leak that should have been fixed instead of running all over the wood cabinetry around it. Breakfast was also a bust from the powdered eggs to the Danish that looked like it had been recovered from the bottom of the ocean a week prior to serving it. Not sure what kind of bacon they served but it was sure salty and rubbery. They seem to charge for every thing. Parking.....really, I'm staying in your crappy hotel.....

We're 5, and could stay with 2 doubles bed and one sofa bed. Kids enjoyed breakfast buffet and indoor pool. Clean, nice, and good price.

Visiting Bay Area & Coast

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The cleanliness & layout of my very inexpensive suite.
Cons: More directional signage at the breakfast buffet. I had to search for the bread & toaster and the juice counter.
Location: Already did.
The hotel was central to my visit. I spent the day in Princeton & Half Moon Bay enjoying the coastal calm. The evening brought me to the hotel in South San Francisco & a great dinner. My visit included a trip to a huge shopping mall in San Mateo & another in Palo Alto. I even fit in a dinner with a friend in San Jose. I'll will definitely stay at Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport again.

Close to the airport and freeways.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Hotel was close to the airport and freeway but nothing else around. Breakfast was included which was a plus for a family of four. Room accommodations were ok, bed linens were never changed even after three nights and repeated requests for another box of tissues were ignored. They deactivated our room key the night before we left and would not give us a paper receipt even though we did not have any charges (they said expedia would handle it). I have booked through expedia numerous times so that was a puzzlement. Overall, not the best stay at a Hilton hotel; I have had much better experiences...
