When my wife and I first parked and walk into, what we thought was the lobby because it was so huge, Amy , the owner let us know that we were standing in our room. What a great place to go and get away from the hussle bussle of the city. We didn't want to leave this little paradise. we got very personal service with a great breakfast and got very special treatment the whole time. Tom and I, Amy's husband had allot in commen and it was a pleasure meeting them both. Heck the cat was even very friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are going back again in March. I would highly recommend this county side hideaway.

We decided to stay at the Avila Village Inn on Christmas Eve. The inn was so beautifully decorated and welcoming. We enjoyed the cracking fireplace in the lobby, and took full advantage of the complimentary hot tea and coffee. The night staff was incredibly kind.
The following morning we decided to take a bike ride. The inn is right next to the Bob Jones trail, so we decided to rent bikes from the inn. We were told bike rental would be free since the bikes were in poor condition. When we went outside to grab a pair of bikes we noticed a new set of mountain bikes. The inn staffperson told us she didn't know where the key was to those bikes and we'd have to take the old beach cruisers. Upon starting our adventure with a pair of beach cruisers, it became apparent that they really needed to make nicer bikes available to guests. One of the bikes had bent front and back wheels, and was difficult to ride. That was our only complaint.
All menial stuff set aside, this stay was wonderful and we'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Hotel is very cute and cozy. Small in size and with friendly staff. Room was overall clean but towels have some scent that I didn't really enjoy. Not a bad smell but kind of stale smell not very fresh. Comortars the same. We had a private spa in the room that was the best of the stay. It had jacuzzi and the water quality was good. I'm not sure if the water was actually from the springs but my skin felt good after bath. The bath products were tarocco and they smell good! I bought some from their gift shop on the way out. The price was surprisingly good. I compared with amazon and few bucks cheaper for the 8 oz bottles. Only bad thing-I would not even call bad bc it didn't bother me much but other peroom thought it was- that there's no balcony. I think other rooms without spa had balconies. The hotel located right next to freeway but I didn't hear noise from it.

This hotel is like a boutique hotel at normal hotel prices. Lots of charm and very nice facilities. The hotel restaurant and bar are closed down, but there are restaurants and bars nearby you can visit. What a great hotel, we cannot wait to go back on our next wine tasting trip.
