Close to the University, very clean, air conditioning was working, the breakfast sandwich was excellent - better than a McDonald's sausage mac muffin. Eddie was great - a very pleasant overnight stay in SLO - inexpensive as well.

I had a quiet, comfortable stay. This is not a luxury hotel, nor did I expect one. The breakfast was basic, but enjoyable. The staff was friendly. I couldn't ask for more.

Generally clean, bed was comfortable enough, shower was hot but bathroom felt a little dated. Continental breakfast was fair but just a 1-serve instant coffee maker so there can be a line. Fairly quiet and A/C worked well though it seemed to smell a little. But all in all decent value for the area.

The room was really clean with comfortable beds along with the property being well maintained. It’s a family owned business and they were nothing but friendly & helpful the whole time. Downtown is within walking distance and I definitely recommend keeping your car parked at the hotel unless you want to park on the street. Other than that, Iwould definitely stay again here!

Always on the hunt to find a reasonably priced place to stay near Cal Poly. Surprisingly clean for a hotel with the name University in it. Seems like privately owned, we told them we'd arrive by midnight and they asked if we could arrive before 10pm, guessing so they could sleep. Don't blame them quite frankly. We asked the owner if we could have an upstairs room. She was absolutely accommodating, remembered and honored our request upon arrival. Breakfast is minimal continental, bananas, microwaveable Jimmy Dean sausage croissants, pastries, and coffee. If you're on the go, their breakfast is arguably better than a sit-down buffet. Would 100% recommend and we'd stay again. It's about a 1 minute or so drive to the Cal Poly campus.

The room was very clean. It is kind of like a motel 6. The registration process was a little difficult because we could not quite understand the person very well, being senior citizens. When we checked out my husband life two of his favorite ball caps in the room. We called when we got back home and couldn't quite get any information because of not speaking Spanish. WE were told housekeeping only spoke Spanish. Left information no replies. We could not get the tv channels to change. No instructions. So watched what we could. Did serve a small breakfast which was good. Good value for the price.
