Many of Northern Corsica’s highlights are located within easy reach of Santa-Maria-di-Lota, making it a convenient place to base yourself. Eglise Ste-Marie in Bastia and the Church of St-Martin in Patrimonio offers travellers to Northern Corsica a chance to better understand the religious history of the area.
Nearby Stade Armand Cesari, Bastia is a great place to hang out with lovers of soccer, and to see local legends, the SC Bastia, in all their glory. On match days the area around the stadium becomes a sea of blue and white, as local soccer lovers gather to cheer on their home-grown heroes.
