"My sister-in-law and I had a quick weekend getaway to wine country and this cottage was perfect! We each got our own room and room to spead out comfortably. And a beautiful surprise was a bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for us! Amazing! It was well equipped for cooking (and a very sensitive fire alarm) and the views were gorgeous. We enjoyed cups of coffee every morning overlooking the front. Just perfect!"

"Extremely clean and decorated very well. It was a short stay so didnt use the fire pit or hot tub, but the couch and bed were very comfortable. Great price compared to many places in Charlottsville. Would definitely stay again."

"This was a beautiful and quiet setting perfectly located for our interests which were hiking the Appalachian Trail, exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway, and enjoying a day trip to Thomas Jefferson’s home at Monticello. The property was clean, well laid out, and functional. Communication was clear. We had a wonderful stay."

"The cabin was very small. Lots of bugs and spiders. Ceiling plaster peeling off. No TV instructions and barely worked when we figured it out. No wifi or cell service at all. Had to drive a few miles away to pull up email with the code. Too small and just not what expected."

"This place was perfect size for my husband and I and another couple to stay and enjoy an extended weekend. I give it a 4 star over all stay due to the 2 bedroom has more of a closet door instead of a true door that had difficulty closing at night. All new appliances were perfect for cooking dinner at night and perfect location to do the Nelson 151 wine tour."

"My family of three (2 adults and one 3yo) had the best time at the cottage. As we approached upon arrival we had breathtaking views of fields and fields of pink-blossomed peach trees. The view from the cottage itself was beautiful, with mountains in the distance and a peaceful farm in the forefront. Highlights were having breakfast views of the llamas each morning and seeing the trains go by daily. The home itself was very comfortable and the fireplace a bonus. We hope to return in warmer...

"The location of the house was perfect for what we had planned for the weekend which was to attend several wineries over our 3-day weekend. A lot of them are withing 10-15 minutes from the house. We were also only 10 minutes from the entrance to the Shenandoah National Park so it was an easy access to hiking and picnicking. The reviews do mention that Interstate 64 runs close by the house and you can see it through the trees and it was noisy but we were only at the house at night so it wasn't...
