"Fabulous property. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We chose this house over others because it had a kitchen table that was perfect for setting up games on and another dining table to eat on. "Fantastic location & views. Very basic which let it down. Not great when you travelled 4hrs on the road & not find any milk in fridge for a cup of tea. Lovely shower but all the mould let it down (even the fake plant was covered in mould). Tiny bath towels and no blind on window,Hole in fence has not been fixed but some broken chairs put in front which didn't take my dogs long to figure out & no outside light in garden so i had to use my phone torch to make sure they did not escape at night....

"Such a cost, warm and welcoming cottage. Instantly feels like a home away from home. Superbly equipped and near to some of the most surrounding walks and tells such as Skiddaw and (right above) Blenchathra. Parking right outside the lodge too (if your car isn't too big!), which is really handy for unpacking. Check in/out is easy. Easy to find too. Will definitely be returning! Great for couples or people on their own."

The perfect spa hideaway
"We loved every single minute of our stay here! The suite we stayed in was heavenly. Having the use of your own steam room, sauna and jacuzzi was worth every penny. The main hotel spa area was well maintained and clean too. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A combination of cooked to order and buffet. Didn't need to eat again until dinner! Would highly recommend."
