“Dry in Seattle”
Great service from a wonderful staff. The facilities (pool & exercise room) were 5 star. The only down side is that Expedia said the parking would be free---it isn't ($20/nt).
“Hyatt Place is like a home away from home”
Seattle is a great city to visit, and Hyatt Place is a superb place to stay! The rooms at Hyatt Place were comfortable and in great condition. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It felt like home. It was very nice having a shuttle to take us anywhere within a mile's radius of the hotel. This allowed us to get to/from the airport inexpensively via light rail (another great feature of Seattle). On the other hand, if you like to walk, Hyatt place is situated such that a lot of what is available downtown is an easy, relatively short walk away. Be advised that the Hyatt Place is minimalist. No fancy restaurant, bars or entertainment onsite. This is fine for us, because we don't come to Seattle to hang out in hotels. If I were to offer one suggestion to Hyatt Place management, it would be to fine-tune the continental breakfast. Most of it was OK, plus one has the option of ordering, and paying for, a hot breakfast. However, the fruit was almost inedible. I suspect it was canned. Better not to have fruit at all than serve bad fruit.
“great hotel”
The hotel offers a shuttle bus which is super convenient! highly recommended. :)
“NYE 2012.”
I came to Seattle to celebrate New Year's Eve 2012 and the Hyatt Place was perfect, just a block from Fisher Plaza where the fireworks can seen perfectly. The hotel itself was superb, check-in was swift, and the staff was very friendly and helpful to any questions I had. The room was very plush with a sectional sofa/couch and ottoman on wheels as well as a half wall to section off the living area from the king sized bed which was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. There was also a nice marble-topped bar area with a fridge underneath to cool your own beverages. Top it off with a large-swiveling flat-screen tv and you've got a winner for an hotel room.
“Hard Working”
Nice flat screen tv and enough space to have a few guests seated comfortably. House keeping kept the room clean daily. Even checking everything to make sure its perfect like your coming in the room for the first time.
“Hyatt Place- Very Nice”
Great continental breakfast , large lobby, very helpful desk staff, close to Seattle Center, lots of good things about the Hyatt Place. Our room was on the backside 4th floor and you get some noise from the gas station below....sat night was very active with boomboxes or car amplifiers. Sunday night was quiet. We had a Large SUV and had to park acroos the street in a private pay lot. A liitle incovenient but workable. Overall a good place to stay but get a room on the front or side facing Denney Way.
“Stayed and Enjoyed!”
The hotel staff was great and very helpful. They are enthusiastic about having a chat when they can I love that about traveling. It's about meeting people and listening to their stories. The services of the hotel were great because we were with a group of 18 people and they held our belongings for almost half a day while we were out and about. It was very nice and clean, everything looked great. The breakfast wasn't the most amazing continental breakfast but it was good to have a nice place to sit and eat with plenty of space.
“Great stay.”
Very clean, modern hotel. Great location... within blocks of the Space Needle. Good breakfast. Only downside... a bit of traffic noise. Overall... great experience.
“Enjoyable experience”
Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The location for tourists is also ideal. Close to the waterfront and other sights
“Place to stay in Seattle!”
