Great place if you like nature

Pros: Just being in the jungle, basic and quite, great food and brilliant guides
Cons: Put the hammocks away from the children's play area
Location: You are not allowed to go out on your own but you are busy day and evenings with little trips, not compulsory
You need to be reasonably fit and not expect luxury it is all good but basic. You can only go out of the area with a guide and are busy with local trips on the boat and on foot. A lot of walking through the jungle. Make sure you bring plenty of changes of clothes especially if it is likely to rain, need good rain gear.

This was the highlight of our 4 week journey through South America. The amount of wild life we saw, coupled with the knowledge of the guides who accompanied us to the service at the lodge was simply amazing. The rooms were in keeping with the surroundings - loved the outdoor feel to them, but didn't particularly like the lack of light in the rooms when the sun went down. Only kerosene lamps and 2 candles. The buffet meals were great and unique to the area. Would certainly have liked to have stayed longer.
