Great weekend getaway near Gaslamp, Beach, & Arena

Posted May 18, 2015
Cons: Calamari in hotel restaurant was overcooked...
Came for concert and loved walk through Gaslamp on way home. Proximity to waterfront and views also major plus! Got room for huge discount which was what caught our attention!

Pan Pacific

Posted May 17, 2015
Pros: Convenience to cruise ship terminal
Cons: Ridiculously high charge for bottled water.
Location: Location convenience reason for booking. Enjoyed a leisurely walk to Coal Harour on exquisite evening in Vancouver.
This room was OK - it was very expensive considering we were not even overlooking the water. Room had double beds rather than queen size usually enjoyed at other lesser priced hotels. Not impressed with bathroom at all. Lots of room though, nice space if you are entertaining a small number of people. Also, the Flames lost, but TV reception was very good. Bell men where very helpful.

Great Hotel: Cruise Terminal is a few feet away

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: The ability to give our bags to the bell man who gave our bags to the cruise ship and with no issues.
Location: Conveniently located right on top of a mall and great food court. The food court does not serve your typical fast food. Transportation right there.
My wife and I stayed here for one night before taking the Princess Cruise the following day at 9AM. The hotel took our bags and we received them in the stateroom. This option is very convenient. We enjoyed the beautiful + clean hotel. The front desk customer service is superb and other hotel chains you take notes and train their staff.

The receptionist offered me the room upgraded and it was a harbor-view suite. I really enjoyed two nights there and miss it now. Thank you.

Gorgeous views, awesome service, best beds ever!

Just lovely- from the friendliest helpful bell hop to every other member of staff we were treated like VIP's . The views from the harbour side rooms were worth every cent -watching the float planes come and go with the mountain backdrop was fantastic . Great coffee and bagels across the road at Tim Hortons -Way too many beggars and complicated life stories as soon as you step outside though- I think that is just Downtown Vancouver - takes the shine off a beautiful city though.

Pros: location
It was a beautiful hotel just not enough options for lunch (Mothers Day brunch at the hotel was sold out so there was no where in the hotel to eat lunch. As I was attending a seminar there was only a short time to eat lunch.

Majestic view and great staff!

Posted May 11, 2015
From checking in to checking out, the staff were super friendly and super helpful. We booked 2 harbour-view rooms and 1 city view room. A relative from Germany was quite at awe with the magnificent view of the mountains and the water from their room. We were all very pleased. If you do not want to spend an extra $100 plus per night. Go get a room with the city view. the view from the room wasn't too shabby either. The hotel is situated in the best part of the city where there will be great views in every room.

Stunning view of a busy harbour

Posted May 9, 2015
We loved our visit. The room was perfect, with an amazing view of the Vancouver harbour. We loved watching the Twin Otters, Single Otters, and Beavers coming and going from Harbour Air, just below us, near the grass-roofed Convention Centre. The views of West and North Van., along with the views of the harbour traffic are wonderful. Hotel staff, especially the concierge, were fantastic. We especially liked the staff in the hotel restaurant (Lobby level), who were very friendly and efficient. We couldn't afford to stay there in prime season but, off-season, prices were bearable. Everything was very clean and the maid quickly learned our patterns and cleaned the room, always, while we were at breakfast.
