Awesome hotel!Posted Jan 22, 2015
Very upscale hotel. It's located right above the convention centre, and a 2 minute walk from the new convention centre. The staff are very friendly and the views are amazing. I highly recommend getting a room facing north towards north vancouver.

Good but v. expensive extrasPosted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Well trained staff, consistency, good food. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi.
Cons: Coffee could be much better, room service dish costs are frankly ridiculous (particularly given that delivery is charged on top).
Excellent hotel, great staff and reasonable food. However, beware the costs. Cereal, croissant, juice and coffee for room service breakfast cost me more per head than a two course lunch at the Hawksworth Restaurant, which is one of the best in town. Wow!! N.B. Coffee in the hotel was not good.

Good location; comfortable; a tad piratical....Posted Jan 14, 2015
The Pan Pacific is a beautiful hotel, with beautiful views, comfortable rooms. It's large and luxurious. The price of the room is more or less what you'd expect for type of hotel and location. But all of the "extras" are surprisingly expensive: room service is about triple what you might expect, even from this kind of hotel; internet is extra; the hotel bar is way overpriced. Friendly staff and a beautiful hotel....if management could be a little more generous about the add-ons, it'd be a really spectacular place. (Also: to get to the gym you have to go through the parking garage: brrrr!)

fabulous location and views.Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: The location, the staff, the room, the views, the rooftop swimming pool, comfy beds, the huge lobby decorated for Christmas.
Cons: If the meals had been cheaper we may have dined at the hotel
Location: Great location close to transport, restaurants, shops, bike hire for a cycle around Stanley Park, close to the ferry to cross to North Vancouver.
Had a great family Christmas break with our daughters. The location of Pan Pacific is perfect for walking into the city centre, catching taxis buses and trains. The views over to North Vancouver are stunning and it's great to watch the busy harbour. Seaplanes, ferries, cargo ships and, on our last day, a dolphin! Plenty of eating places if you're not dining in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We felt very important when the doorman whistled for a taxi for us and loaded our bags in. The room was clean, spacious and very comfy. A haven to bathe and relax after a day skiing.
