"We woke up every morning to enjoy the gorgeous sunrise over the mountains. We picked this cabin because of the stunning views from inside, and not just from a deck, which was harder to find in the area. Very well-equipped kitchen. Tiny quiet neighborhood well off of any main roads. Check the weather forecast for Fontana Dam before you go- the house is not fully winterized, and the furnace could not keep up when temps were sustaining below 35-40F"

"Our stay at The Hive was perfect! It was easy to find with the provided directions even in the dark. Though unlocking the gate and walking down to the yurt in the dark and hearing "moo's" behind us was slightly intimidating. (Only if you've ever had cows chase you before probably) The yurt was warm and welcoming, it was clean and everything was just as pictured. We couldn't have asked for more. "The stay was great! Perfect spot! The minor complaints i have seem to be the same as other past guest's, not sure why they havent been addressed??? The Shower door needs attention as well as the tub faucet. The kitchen isnt really stocked with everything you need, so be prepared, i wasnt cooking but needed a wine opener and noticed no dish rags or towels to even do dishes other than using the dishwasher. "We took the motorcycles out for a trip. The cabin is at the end of The Tail of The Dragon. We rode many beautiful roads from the cabin. It’s does have a musty smell but everything was nice inside. Little cover for the two bikes."

"We loved our stay, it was very secluded (like scary movie secluded) but that’s what we were looking for lol! Great views of the stars, close to lots of hiking trails- Do tellico gap and climb the fire tower you’ll thank me later! Still close enough to drive into Bryson city, Robbinsville, and visit NOC. "It was long overdo getaway for us. We had a Relaxing weekend. Only thing we Recommend to other get your Access Code ahead arrival as NO Internet until you get inside for their WI-FI. We had go down road and call owner for code. But other than that Perfect atmosphere and house was very well maintained. We will return. Owner nice as well."
