"We just enjoyed the best two nights here! We loved learning about the history of the Inn and the place is so well preserved. The innkeeper and chef were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so delicious both mornings. The location was great as well. Almost everywhere we wanted to go regardless of the direction was 15-20 minutes away. There was an amazing pizza place right around the corner that we would definitely suggest going to. We highly recommend this inn and will surely be...

"We are so glad we stayed at Cave Hill Farm B&B! The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. The house was beautiful and peaceful. It was a short drive to Mashita, where we had an excellent dinner. In the morning, we walked downstairs and had a delicious breakfast while chatting with the other guests, which was all lovely. We look forward to returning. "

"It's not really the owner's fault at all but the place is built on a rather treacherous bit of mountainside in the Shenandoah. The website doesn't really give much warning about this and there isn't any sort of guardrails. There is a hell of a 'pucker factor' getting to and from the location as it's just one lane. But once you get there- My GOSH! So beautiful-- so inviting.. and so, so so sooo cozy! Makes it all worthwhile!! As I said before, unless a millionaire wants to donate $$$$$$...

"Host is a very nice and interesting to talk to. Farm had neat things to look at. Very quiet and relaxing. Didn't know we had to tell them we wanted breakfast ahead of time so we missed out on the breakfast both days. I don't know if that was communicated to me or not. "

"I have to say the room and accommodations were even better than we expected! Our room was cozy, clean, and decorated with amazing historical touches. The host was very accommodating and welcoming. The rest of the property was amazing in itself! We went hiking and biking in the area. And, there are plenty of breweries and wineries to choose from. Be sure to visit the Stauton visitor center ... super friendly and filled with knowledge about the history and area attractions!"

"We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

"This has become an annual trip for my family. Very relaxing. Love spending hours at the rec center. The property is cool. Actually received brand new living room furniture on our second day. Only complaint would be the out dated TVs in the bedroom. I’m sure they’ll be changing those soon"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Massanutten Resort. The resort offers many amenities and activities however everything must be purchased separately. I wish they offered an all inclusive option for families. The prices are high, but I guess that's as expected for a four seasons resort. The indoor waterpark was awesome! Getting to see the wildlife right off the balcony was amazing, everything from deer and groundhogs to birds and skunks! Gorgeous mountain views, secluded peaceful and quiet! (aside from...
