Not even worth the discounted rate!

Cons: This hotel needs complete renovation and considerate employees who do not wake guests early.
Check in was easy and promising si ce they were remodelling. That meant breakfast was in a.n OLD bedroom with room for two tables - not much else. The bathroom of our room 112 was worse than a gas station. Broke. Dirty tiles- the shower surround did not fit well and there was a dead bug behind the toilet. My grandson said he killed a bug on his bed. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS HOTEL!

More like a dive motel...

Pros: Location, nothing else.
Cons: Where to start.....
What an awful little place. It is a two-level building with all rooms accessible from the outside. My room just happened to be directly over two rooms undergoing major construction... power tools engaged at 8 AM and a giant dumpster collecting furniture and bits of drywall. Hotel basically said there's nothing they can do because I paid through Expedia. Aside from this madness there were just general annoyances: No room closets, but a garment hanger bolted to the wall which was directly above the tv, which was bolted to the dresser... so your clothes will hang in front of the tv or you could cram them behind it. The phone does NOT have an option to call the front desk... wanna complain to them about something? Be prepared to walk there. Finally when I pulled in at 10 PM the night I checked in, there were several people just hanging out in front of rooms with open doors. Initially I was happy that my room was around the corner from them, until 8 AM when the construction began.

Pros: Liked nothing about the hotel.
Cons: Tear it down and start over.
Checked in and out within 15 minutes! The smoke free room wreaked of cigarette smoke. The lights in the room did not work and the room temperature was about 100 degrees. The hotel did not feel like it was on the up and up and we did not feel safe.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: A new manager who cares about his guests.
Worst experience ever! Maintenance staff employee walked into room without knocking and thought it was OK because our drapes were open. Same employee power washed porch in front of our room on the 2nd floor, with all of the debris falling on the cars below including my brand new car. When I confronted him as to why no one told us to move our car he said he was only doing his job. Then he proceed to power wash my car from the 2nd floor. I went to the front desk to complain and they connected me to the manager by phone, and he was on the property his solution was to wash my car.

Convenient location to highways.

Pros: Close to Eldorado diner, Route 287, the Tappan Zee bridge and everywhere we needed to go for our stay in NY.
Cons: The exhaust fan in the bathroom was in connection with the light, so every time you turned the light on, a very noisy exhaust fan came on as well.
We found our room to be comfortable, the fact that there was wireless connection was a bonus and the breakfast was enjoyable. There was a movie being shot at the hotel and that made it a bit more exciting, although the parking was not as easy when the movie staff needed to block off spaces. The staff was professional and personable.

Xperia was okay as there is much to be done to differentiate between non smoking and smoking rooms.

Convenient but not so clean

I did not like the lack of cleanliness of the hotel. The walls were dirty in the bathroom, and there was hair in the bathtub. The bed sheets had hair and what seemed like crumbs. Overall this made my stay uncomfortable. This was the first time I was disappointed with this hotel. I've stayed in other days Inn that were great.
