Stayed on the last day of the Grand Prix (but not for the Grand Prix) so prices were 4x the usual. If it wasn’t for the exorbitant hotel prices everywhere due to the event, we wouldn’t likely have chosen this hotel. That said, it is wasn’t the worse option and there were solid pros and cons. We travelled with two young children and stayed 2 nights. Pros: location is good, especially since we travelled by train. It is walking distance to many attractions. Staff and management were kind and welcoming. Check in and out were smooth. Seems like the rooms were pretty sound proof, at least ours was. We stayed in a room on the 10th floor right next to the elevators and barely heard others. Room layout was actually pretty nice too. There was a separate room with a couch, desk and TV. We didn’t really use the kitchen other than the fridge. It is close to IGA so it’s convenient for groceries. Cons: hotel is really old and maybe because of that, it didn’t seem very clean. The bathtub actually looked so bleh that we didn’t use it, even the towels seemed really old. If you’re not high maintenance like us, then it won’t bother you. What bothered us the most was the smell. As soon as we entered, there was a strong smell as if someone had just cooked in the kitchen. That definitely gave off a vibe of not so clean. Later in the evening, smells of cigarettes and burning plastic. Not sure where they were coming from but it definitely ruined the first night. The second night was better.

Stinky carpet, TV in one of the room doesn't work. You can't change temperature settings on the AC unit control. You have to bring the dirty towels to front desk to exchange new clean towels. Bathroom shower tub ceiling has mold.

Great location…walkable to explore. And convenient to biking lanes. Great base location. . Loved having a kitchen… hotel is basic - nothing fancy …but clean My only complaints - parking is not included and pricy - 32 a day. Second issue - we stayed as it is dog friendly but the hotel has no property where your dog has access to grass to pee. And the location doesn’t have green space near it to use. So it was very inconvenient.

Property was not as advertised. This is an extended stay hotel. There was a foul odor in the room I assume in the carpets. The units are old and in need of updating nothing like the pictures that are shown online. We had booked a vacation to stay here for five nights. We could not wait for the first night to get over so we could leave. We left after one night we prepaid the five days and now we are fighting to get our money back. We had a two room suite. Only one of the rooms had an air conditioning unit the other room we were given a fan after we requested to move to another room with two air conditioners. They did not give us another room gave us a fan that was dirty full of dust we never used it because we did not want to clean it.
