"It was a good family hotel, could do with other restaurants on site, 7 nights is more than enough and you probably want to eat out as the buffet can get very tired and their Italian restaurant on site can be difficult to book with having to be book 2 days in advance. There's adult only sections but naturally are close to children areas so felt bad as no doubt they heard many screaming kids. The rooms were clean enough though expect dirty feet by the end of it, highly recommend the Merlin rooms...

"Only marked down on condition due to the property closing mid jan 2023 for 9 month refurb. Definitely looked tired and in need of upgrade. But this didn't detract from our enjoyable stay in clean comfortable freindly hotel in perfect location"

"Very nice stay for the area. The hotel itself you can tell is old, but has been recently renovated, particularly in the lobby. The dinner at the Brasserie was good but the service was slow, and no attendant was at the reception for the first few minutes when we arrived. Otherwise, it was a good place to rest your head for a night."

"I will definitely be returning to this hotel, it is marked as a 3 star, but honestly you will feel as though you’re in a 4 star hotel. Amazing facilities, staff are amazing (I cannot fault anyone, so thank you all - especially the 2 gents in the evenings, they were super helpful and friendly, I sadly didn’t get their names but they were working on Tues&Wed night this week). "Massive pool heated. Plenty seats around the pool. Good breakfast. No shops in walking distance, like supermarket, but 5 minutes by car to the nearest one. You will need a car or go in shuttle bus once a day, leaving in the morning return in the afternoon. Reception friendly. Will come again. "
