“House was great, location so close to Main St, no shower--only a tub with a removal shower head. Found a few unwanted bugs inside. Site should say friendly "cats" on property, they were nice but definitely more than one lol. The picture shows multiple "houses" that are split to accommodate more guests, wish the map that was on the table was included in the listing. Other than those things, we enjoyed our weekend together here.”

A fantastic lunch and dinner restaurant was directly across the street but for safety we walked 1/2 block to cross at a stoplight. The best place for breakfast was a block up the street! Also, Main Street with all its shops was just two blocks away. All the wineries are in a very close proximity and if you like great views Google the Willow Loop! Then follow your GPS. You’ll love it”

“The Rock House is just beautiful, but its location makes it even more charming. Is super close to downtown and at reasonable distance from all the trending wineries on 290. Communication with host/owners was great. The check in/check out process was very easy and the house have enough accommodations to spend a wonderful weekend, any time of the year. Definitely we would book again!”

“I thought I was booking another RB&B closer to town that was larger so when I arrived, it was a little bit chaotic with my partner. She was a bit disappointed, but overall we were very happy with the facilities and I would recommend it. Two little snafus, one the yard man was mowing and weeding when we arrived and not his fault he was having to work around the weather conditions and he was there as we were leaving mowing the front yard. “This cottage provided a peaceful and relaxing retreat. It was clean and had amenities as listed. It was too cool for us to use the pool, but we enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the beautiful wildflowers and basking in the quiet. We drove around many counties in the area visiting Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs, Kerrville, and Marble Falls. Enjoyed shopping, visiting wineries and distillery. One suggestion that my husband had was to move the bathroom mirror up 3 inches for taller folks....

“We booked 2 years ago in anticipation of the solar eclipse happening on our 35th anniversary. We looked for a place large enough that we could include our family for these significant events. The house worked perfectly for us and our 3 kids/families. Ages ranged from 16 months to almost 70. Plenty of room for comfort. Kitchen was very well equipped my only suggestion would be to add a basic Mr. Coffee pot (we brought our own) in addition to the Kureig—2 pots a day for 8 adults equates to a lot...
