"Amazing place if you are looking for quiet and relaxing vacation surrounded by nature. Santa Elena is close to Medellin if you want to have a city experience. (45 min due to country roads) Hosts are very nice and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious, tradicional, “paisa” style."

"The front desk guy was very unprofessional. I'll just leave it at that. READ THE ROOM DETAILS. Some room types have shared bathrooms and some are shared. Has more of a dorm or hostel feel to place. Noisy on the halls and thin walls between guests. Can hear everything from foot steps to convos to sex from everyone especially when people are in shared spaces like hallway or guest lounges. Only positive is location. "

"Patio del Mundo is an oasis of calm and beauty in Medellin. Located in a hip neigborhood, it's walking distance to great restaurants and bars, while set in a gorgeous lush garden. "We stayed for 8 nights. The manager and crew are VERY personable and helpful, but respectful of our privacy. We came to relax and chill. We were never pestered or intruded upon... But whenever we asked a question or needed assistance, they were prompt and courteous. This was the perfect getaway spot. Close enough for UBER, yet remote enough to be "away from it all."
