"The property was very nice and well-maintained. It had all of the things you need in the kitchen space and in the bathroom. It is on a busy road, so some traffic noise if that is a concern. I did have some issues with the Wi-Fi and the property contact did his best to fix the situation. This is a short term issue, but there is construction of a hotel right next-door so quiet on the weekends but some weekday early morning noise from the contractors. "Cozy and Convenient indeed. The house was clean and very welcoming. It was well stocked and had anything you may need for cookouts or cooking indoors. Would and will come back when making any eastern UP trips."

"Rental property on the inside was as photographed and described. Everything was clean, orderly and in good working condition. Place was cute and quaint. The only downside of our visit was out of the control of the property owners. The outside had thick swarms of what looked to be large gnats. After doing some research, they are midge bugs which come out in the spring starting in April and are at their worst peak in May which is when we stayed. They don't last all summer and they are everywhere,...

"this is a VRBO property rented via Expedia. Expedia gave me a 6-digit passcode. it did not work. i requested another passcode and received a 6-digit passcode. it did not work. I then contracted the owner and the owner advised gave me a 4-difit passcode. looking back, the email sent to me had a 4-digit passcode. why Expedia gave me a 6-digit passcode, I do not know. The rooms were clean and comfortable. "

"Like my title says, this was a great stay in a unique property. Beautiful 123 year old house. I really enjoyed the different architectural details. EASY check in, EASY checkout. Nice location near downtown. I have to give an extra shout out to whomever cleans these units. Mine was refreshingly clean. AND fast communication with guest contact. Enjoyed! Will be back"

"A very cute spot in a convenient area that is walking distance to many things in St. Ignace. We had such a relaxing time and really enjoyed the thoughtful touches from the host. The rental had everything necessary for a short stay. We loved The Wild Blueberry for breakfast / lunch and Buoys for dinner!"

"Driving into the property gives a definite feel of old time motel. But as soon as we walked into the room it was obvious a lot of effort has been put into updating the rooms. Liked the way it was decorated and it was mostly comfortable. My main suggestion is that the room is too small to have the TV at the ceiling. I understand the height but by moving it to the far wall you wouldn’t have to lie down or crane your neck to watch it."

"It is so much fun to stay in a neighborhood. People we chatted with, walking to Penny’s Kitchen and down to the locks. A great place to visit Sault Ste Marie. The apartment was more space than my husband and I needed but we so enjoyed being there. Were very interested to see it and we were not disappointed. We are in our 60’s and pretty active. The stairs were not a problem but we understood they were there. So no surprise! Hope to come again. Thank you for having us"
