Nice Hotel

The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the hotel was so cute. The only complaint I had was that the standard rooms are pretty small. The complementary wine in the evenings was a nice addition to room rates that aren’t too bad for downtown Seattle. The price for parking is pretty steep and the website doesn’t mention anything about the price. One great thing about the hotel is that they accept all dogs. I took a four month old puppy with me and they had no problem with it.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you don’t have to bring a car with you, don’t. Parking is very expensive and downtown Seattle is quite walkable. As long as you don’t mind steep hills.

Excellent hotel in good location

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel - the room was clean and comfortable, and the two meals we had were excellent, even though a bit pricey. We never paid $40 for breakfast for two before.

Pissed

arrived friday night left early saturday morning. All I needed was a bed and a shower. Bed was great shower had only cold water. My credit card got double charged since expedia charged me for everything and then the hotel itself also charged me and a pain to deal with.

Great location

Cool hotel, Aveda products in the bathroom:). Only negative comments are that it cost $35 to park overnight (but it is likely all surrounding locations are the same), and it took a while for the porters to bring our luggage up to the room from the car (we offered to do it ourselves, but they insisted!). Just a short walk down to the Pikes Market!

Friendly, convenient, and fun!

The hotel is within walking distance of most of the sites in Seattle. The concierge was so helpful and friendly! The hotel itself is very whimsical and fun with bright colors and each room having a specific wine theme. Inside there are posters describing the grapes and the region! We loved it!

Will return

We found the staff very friendly, especially since we were traveling with our two pug dogs, Curly and Cosmo. The were very accommodating of our "special travelers", and we found the rooms to be very pleasant on each of our two stays coming into Seattle and on our way home. Tulio, the adjoining restaurant, was very good and we thought the prices were very reasonable for Seattle dining. Good wine list. Short walks to great shopping and dining.

Traveler's tip

Great hotel if traveling with pets.

Love the Kimpton hotels!

I had a wonderful stay, and particularly loved the wine tastings each evening, which focused on Washington area wines. And of course, the Wed massage was a wonderful treat! The service was friendly and the hotel and restaurant were both fantastic. My only (small) complaint was the hair on the floor of my bedroom. It had not been properly cleaned.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Weekend in Seattle

The hotel room was comfortable and cozy. My wife and I were very satisfied with the quality and attention to detail of the Hotel Vintage Park. We now look for Kimpton hotels in other vacation or getaway spots. Definitely worth it.

Good location for business

This property is well located within the downtown district. Small and quiet, it is a good find for a simple overnight. The restaurant is quite good also.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Centrally located. Within walking distance to most attractions in downtown Seattle

ahh, comfort

great hotel, soft beds and pillows, plush decor, great service, and you can’t beat the free wine tasting. the only down sides were the dreary view of the back alley from my window and the lack of a gym (although the female demographic they cater to probably don’t care since they have a spa)

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

did I mention FREE WINE TASTING??

Good rooms

Boutique hotel, cosy. Friendly and helpful staff. They were fully booked and some things were overlooked in our room, but once it was brought to the attention of staff, things were resolved quickly. Lovely rooms, blissfully comfortable beds. We booked a twin room, and it was spacious enough. But can’t wrap my head around $30 valet service.

Traveler's tip on dining

Plenty of fab restaurants within walking distance. We went to Elliots Oyster House. it was fantastic.

Kimpton Seattle Hotel Vintage Park

The hotel accommodations were first-rate, the hotel is intimate, quiet and clean, and, above all, the clientele was high quality and respectful.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

The Hotel Vintage Park is steps from the Seattle waterfront and centrally located, close to the mall and other attractions.

Great Location and Staff

The hotel is convenient to downtown locations and easy walking distance. Very comfortable hotel. Busy, but not crazy busy like the big name hotels. The hotel staff is super and took care of all my needs. They even exceeded expectations in many areas.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Be sure to take advantage of the free afternoon wine tastings. Wines are provided by Washington State wine makers. Great wines and great conversation with other guests and the wine makers.

Great for the price

It was great for the price. We weren’t in the room that much. I would probably choose a different hotel if we had planned to be in the room more. The hotel had a very loud A/C or something, so that was not so nice.

If you get a good rate

I got a really good deal on the room and it was worth what I paid. It was clean and at a great location. However, if I’d paid full price I would have been very disappointed. It’s not as nice as the other Kimpton hotels and the service isn’t as good. I had a king room and it was tiny (and so is the lobby) and there aren’t any of the services and amenities you’d expect in a "good" hotel. If you’re in town for business and just need somewhere well located and clean to sleep it’s perfect, but it’s not a luxury hotel.

Very nice!

After staying at Kimpton’s Prescott Hotel in San Francisco, we expected a hotel with historic character, clean and comfortable at a reasonable price in the center of town. We were not disappointed. The wine reception between five and six with regional wines was a bonus that I had forgotten about, which was very nice. The staff was friendly, the concierge happily phoned us in a reservation at Flying Fish when we all we asked for the restaurant’s phone number. If you like modern architecture, our room faced the Seattle Public Library designed by Rem Koolhaas. We have paid more for less, the Vintage Park is a great place to stay in Seattle.

Traveler's tip on dining

We try to eat at Flying Fish in Belltown whenever we are in Seattle. Great seafood, it has never disappointed.
