Things that go BUMP in the night! It was the heater - every 20 minutes, all night long. Aside from no sleep, all was good.

Caution: Park and Stay rate not honored online

We were satisfied with the hotel and shuttle service and very pleased Clarion had a secured fenced parking lot for Park-and-Stay vehicles, however when we checked in, the front desk staff said websites are misleading and we did not get the Park-and-Stay offer. They honored the website rate and hotel stay, (which they said included parking that night + the next night in the secured, fenced parking lot) but we had to pay the additional nights parking. According to several websites, it stated up to 14 nights free parking with one nights stay, but the front desk said this was misleading and not honored. The front desk staff said the only way to get the park-and-stay rate (one night stay with secured parking included up to 14 nights) is to call the hotel directly. The shuttle service to/from the hotel/airport was excellent (about a 5 minute commute in a clean mini-shuttle bus with safe, friendly drivers). We will stay at this hotel again as a convenient park-and-stay to the Milwaukee Airport.

Convenient value hotel

This hotel is close to the airport and I94, so allows easy access to everything.

Great room for the price!

We stayed here during Summerfest, and were pleasantly surprised. Everyone had recommended that we stay downtown, to save on drive time and to avoid having to pay for parking, but the high prices of downtown hotels were too much for us. We chose the Clarion based on the reviews of others, and were so glad we did. It was about a ten minute drive from Summerfest, the rooms were clean and very nice, considering the low rates. The indoor pool was also much nicer than we’d expected. We’re already planning to stay here again for Summerfest next year.

Best hotel near MKE

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 5 years and have always found it to be very comfortable. It is also very near the MKE (General Mitchell) Milwaukee airport and convenient to catch an early flight out.

Try the in house resturant, "Cork and Cleaver", always good food.

Ate lunch in their restaurant. Had a chef’s salad and there was so much on it that I had enough for supper as well, in my room.

A Good Value

If you stay at least one night you can park your car in their gated lot and they will drop you off at the airport and pick you.

Excellent service

Wasn’t expecting a shuttle service from the airport, nor shuttle service to Amtrak. Excellent!

Serviceable, cheap and cheerful

It is what it is, nothing looks too great in the area, comfortable night’s stay, the large Russian looking woman in the parking lot in her bathrobe smoking at all hours of the night seemed harmless.

Did the job

Arrived in Milwaukee at the airport late, the van was right at curb for the fast ride over to the hotel, where they checked me in quickly. Had a clean room and a quiet night before getting on the plane again early the next morning.

Look out Cub Fans

If you stay here don’t wear your Chicago Cub’s colors unless you want a rude Milwaukee welcome. A lot of noise in the evening around 2:00 A.M. from floor 1. we stayed on floor 2. Otherwise overall the rooms were fine, but the room floors were dirty. Nice amenities but you were fearful of what was going to be said next by the hotel staff so we stayed away and left in a hurry. Not a warm welcoming more like a rival would greet you on the battle field.

Will use again and again when in Milwaukee

We choose this hotel at the last minute. Located very close to the airport, we were uncertain of how noisy it would be. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. The staff was very knowledgeable of the area and gave very detailed instructions when asked. Plenty to do within minutes of this hotel and being right off of the interstate made travel very easy The continental breakfast could have had more variety; however what they had was good. Will use again next time in Milwaukee!

Clarion excellent value

We were greeted warmly, given sheets about the hotel’s offerings as well as coupons for free drinks in the restaurant. Breakfast nice with lots of donuts and muffins as well as fruit, juice and coffee. Welcoming place. Super comfy beds!

Traveler's tip on dining

Make sure to get to Albanian food in Milwaukee. Everyone knows German, but hit Benny’s if you can for homemade soup, salad, great entrees and dessert included with dinner. Best bet in the airport area!

Perfect for airport proximity

Not impressed.

Location was great to get to the airport for our early flight.However, when we arrived late (8:30pm) the room smelled bad when we opened the door, and the air was off on a 80+ degree, humid day and window would not open. Had to buy a room freshener to get through the night.

We arrived late (10pm) after along drive after attending a family funeral. The front desk lady was outstanding!!! However we found out after checking in that there wasn’t any food available awaywhere...not even room service! That’s not right!!!

Professional Service

The Clarion hotel provides professional service and comfort for the business traveler. It is conveniently located near the airport and a short distance from downtown Milwaukee. I have returned since my last business trip.

Good Hotel Close to Airport

Very nice hotel that is very easy to get to from the highway. Close to the airport and provides shuttle service 24/7. Comfortable, clean rooms and friendly staff.

Kind of a pit

Bathroom kept flusing on its own through the night. Only decaf coffee in the room, and had to call for regular coffee.

Great hotel if you have business near the airport. Shuttle service was speedy and they were willing to take you to nearby restaurants as well. Staff was warm. The continental breakfast is small and upon arrival, the lobby isn’t very impressive, but the room was really nice. The bed was outfitted in down with high quality linens.

Not impressed

Although our room was clean it just felt dirty and dingy. There were stains on the carpet and tears in the carpet that showed it’s age and use. The tiles in the bathroom appeared clean but they looked like they too had seen some better years and needed a good scrub down. The continental breakfast consisted of two donuts and an orange by the time I got down there at 8:30 a.m. and the staff said that’s all they had for that day. When I checked in, I had to stand there at the front desk for about 5 minutes before the staff member even looked up. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel nor would I stay here in the future.
