Beautiful and Unique

It’s like a combination of an aquarium, waterpark, and beach resort. Every where you look is a photograph. The landscaping and waterfalls are beautiful. But yes, it’s very expensive.

We went in mid-October. It wasn’t very crowded so the we never had to wait for the water slides, there were plenty of chairs and we had a lot of room to float leisurely in AquaAdventure. Also, the weather was in the high 80s so we didn’t get cold floating around (except on the day it was windy, cloudy and 80). On the other hand, several restaurants were closed as well as one of the pools. It didn’t bother me though. I liked the low crowds.

Heaven On Earth

This was our second time at the Coral Towers. We love that this particular tower is central to all ammenities. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a fabulous suite when the room I originally booked was being renovated. We can’t wait to get back!!!!

Love October...still hot and not too crowded.

Satisfaction ?

If all you want to do is be in the water all day, I guess it’s ok. Otherwise forget it. A large number of the restaurants were closed. The ones open were excessively expensive. The shops also. In the casino, couldn’t even find a machine that you could stay at & have fun. Forget the comps, even at the $ machines. Play 4 hours every day on at least $3 slots to get anything. Service and food at casino was poor. Certainly won’t go back there again. Value for money just wasn’t there.

Fun But Pricey

If you have money to burn, this is a great place to go and have fun, but expect the total bill to be about twice what you expected.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

The shallow water visit with the dolphins is a once in a lifetime experience and definitely worth the cost.

Was Excellent

The hotel was awesome! All the pools, slides, and the beach was amazing, but the only draw back is that everything is so expensive. A red bull was $7 and a salad was almost $20. But overall everything was awesome!

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Bring snacks from home!

upgrade

Our booking was at the Coral Towers. Since we requested 2 rooms with a connected door so the kids would be together at night, we were upgraded to the Royal Towers. Everything was perfect, the food, the hotel and the service. Everybody was very friendly and supportive.

Great Place to Visit

We took our daughter and had a fabulous time. If you are a family that enjoys the water, this resort has endless possibilities. There is more to do than time allows. Food is expensive, and they charge for most activities. My biggest complaint is the hotel is not at all helpful in helping new guests familiarize themselves with the resort. It took us most of the four days to become familiar with the resort and find our way around.

Bring money!!!!!!

Atlantis is amazing overall but Coral Towers needs a makeover

A/C in the room couldnt keep up with the afternoon heat. Shower head was just horrible gave up after it was replaced twice. Water saver device sprinkles water everywhere but on you. Takes 4 times longer to rinse off cant, imagine saving much water. Dining outragously expensive even outside of Atlantis. We ventured out to the "Fish Fry" ended up costing even more then Atlantis & not as good. Overall Atlantis is a great destination, the Bahamians are wonderful.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

We did the Dolphin Encounter $100 PP included very nice boat ride. Very enjoyable even the baby got kissed by the Dolphin. Dont spend too much on the photos.

Not impressed

Recently stayed at the Coral towers with my two nieces (graduation gift) and was surprised how much the staff could have cared less about providing "service", answering questions or even cleaning the rooms. There is "island attitude" and then there is simply distain. Not to mention the overall accepted overtly leering practices of the male staff member towards any attractive female who crossed their paths. Disappointed.

Water Park

We spent most of our time at the water park. The room was just a place to crash. Our maid was great.

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

The water park was excellent. We have a 5 and 8yr old who just had a blast.

Atalntis Review

The resort has great potential, but I will not go back or recomend it because they allow smoking in all public areas, including indoor areas.

Great trip

My husband and I and two children 5 and 8 were very happy with the Coral Towers. We got upgraded from one room waterview to a two bedroom suite right facing the beach and ocean. Having two bathrooms and the extra space made it great!!! The food was on the pricey side but still it was worth it.

There was a store where you could by snacks and cereal etc.. not far from the hotel which was worth going to. OR pack the snacks from home and bring for the kids. Also bring shovels or pail from home. They charge so much for these items to buy at Atlantis.

Great Place

The hotel was great. Only wish there was a refrig and microwave in the room for personal use so that you could store & heat leftovers the next day.

Food was expensive, so would advise to buy the dinner plan when booking.

Completely satisfied!

We stayed in the Coral Tower and this hotel was everything I could ask for and more. Clean room, helpful staff and centrally located to all the pools. All the pools were wonderful, my daughter had an amazing time and the dolphin experience was awesome. I don’t think the food was extremely high priced as everyone says. I was pleasantly surprised by the decent prices. Can’t wait to go back again.

Above average for the price

The Coral Towers was extremely clean and in great shape given the age. Since the prices are above normal, I wouldn’t say the hotel is necessarily worth the price. If the Atlantis has some special deals on the rooms, then this is a great place to stay.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

If you are going to be at the Atlantis for more than 3 or 4 nights, then I would suggest you either bring some snacks or buy some locally. The food prices at the Atlantis are unreasonably priced. Lunch for five people would average $80 plus dollars and just muffins and coffee for five would average $40.00 plus. So keep that in mind.

Nice, but expensive for what you get, and Staff attitude was subpar

Room was in an older building that was renovated nicely. Hotel Amenities were good as well as presentation and cleanliness. Outside pools and walkways are plentiful and nice. The best Lazy River I’ve ever seen. The beach is not so great. Shops and Restaurants are crazy expensive. Sunblock costs $30, toothpaste was $10+ and food and drinks are expensive too (or should I say too expensive). The resort is a spectacle to be seen by all, but it simply is not worth the $$$$. And if you stay in the Royal or Coral Tower, it feels like a mission to walk what feels like a mile to get to a pool or the beach. And you have to walk through all of the lobby/mall with its visitors and freezing a/c to get back to the room. Great place, not worth the price and attitude of staff was not up to par for the rest of the experience.

Not impressed with rooms but great for the kids

The coral towers wasn’t the most renovated but it was definitely situated well with the marina, casino, kids club and speed way just down stairs so it was perfect for parents traveling with children. Some of the other towers would have proved to long a daily walk to get our kids to the activities they enjoyed throughout the trip.

non-smoking room smelled of smoking

We got a room in the older wing of the hotel that smelled like cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Due to the late night arrival, we didn’t ask for a room change till the next day. We were offered a couple others and decided on the one in the newer wing which was odor free. Still, overall it was not worth the price we paid.

Don’t go in March -- water is too cold, none of the pools are heated.

very nice

very good

Traveler's tip

Phone service has always been bad and very costly for years. I think a hotel as nice as Atlants could get the phone co. to be more competive.

Good Place to Stay

The hotel was old but nice seemed to have been recently remodeled. Service was good and the hotel was clean. Only draw back is food is very pricey.
