"Amazing view of the Grand Place"
I lucked out and was on the top floor of the hotel with a beautiful round window that had the most amazing view of the Grand Place in this small lofted portion of the room. Other positives, breakfast was amazing, the staff was superbly kind, rooms are large enough to store bikes, beds are very comfortable and the location is perfect if you want to sightsee in the historical region. Downsides, the shower temperature was tricky (small price to pay).

The hotel staff was very friendly and considerate. They helped me carry my heavy suitcase up to the room, call for a taxi when I needed, etc. The street can be a little noisy during the day as Mannekin pis is very close to it but at night it is quite. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a clean room w private bathroom but no added frills.

Pocket Guide: Brussels Brussels Grand Place 1 star Hotels

A heart-shaped ring road defines Brussels’ city core, and most of its visitor attractions. Within these limits, the centre consists of two distinct halves. To the west is the Lower Town, a tangle of medieval streets centred on the Grand Place, a vast cobbled square surrounded by ornate Flemish buildings. To the east is the newer and more aristocratic Upper Town, a zone of palaces and parks, grand museums, and gothic churches.
