“Upon arriving, we were told that Hotel.com had booked us a smoking room. I showed them the e-mail confirmation on my computer only to get remarks such as, "That won't change anything" "It doesn't matter what your e-mail says"... We asked if they could make the change and the lady first said no, and it's not because they were full, just because they got the information that we wanted a smoking room, while never providing any proof that was the what happened. “In our room the carpet felt sticky, the wallpaper was coming apart at the corners, it smelt musky, the curtains would not stay closed, the bath tub had mold in spots and the paint on the tap was peeling. We stayed 4 nights and housekeeping never entered our room. We had to go get clean towels. The breakfast was just okay. There was a large dumpster out front of hotel with a big pile of junk next to it. The pool area needed cleaned, the water was murky and could have used a good cleaning also.”
