“5/5 stars - Outstanding Stay at Hotel Bellwether My wife and I stayed at Hotel Bellwether while visiting Bellingham to check out WWU for our son, and it was worth every penny. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The entryway is warm and inviting with a cozy fireplace, comfortable seating, and well-lit steps leading up to the front desk. “The hotel offers free passes to a nearby yoga studio, as well as to a couple of gym with a pool, and free bicycle usage. Great for a relaxing morning in the area. The property is well kept, nice and cozy. Snacks in the room and fresh apples in the lobby add a nice touch. Recommend. ”

“Property was a bit tired. Room was clean, bed was comfy, water pressure weak. Staff was friendly and it was quiet and safe. Location was super walkable to town and across from waterfront. A bit overpriced for the overall experience, but would stay again. ”

“Our unit overlooks the water. Kitchen is fully equipped and it would be great for families who love to cook their own meals. The front desk staff is very friendly and gave great suggestions for first time visitors like us. I love gardens and I think they just need to upkeep some of the plants to give the courtyard a better appeal. Did not find a walkway from the property grounds to the street which is too bad because this is located right on the edge of the town area. Overall though, great place……

“This was our first time visiting Birch Bay. Had a great stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and well taken care of, and the staff was very nice. The unit was huge and had a fully stocked kitchen. Our kids loved the outdoor pool, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The location is great—right by the water, close to some eating places, and a short drive to Birch Bay State Park. This place met all our expectations and even more. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”
