"the property in general was clean and the amenities and pools were great. i loved the little stream and bridges between building 6 & 7. Very cute. Breakfast wasn't too bad as far as buffet breakfasts go. Unfortunately, the buffet breakfast, literally, everywhere you turned, there were signs telling you that you were not allowed to take food "to go". I understand this to some extent but there were 3 tent signs that i could see and it was written on the chalkboard as you entered the dining area...

Fortunately, the tour group operators were willing to pick me up at the hotel. I didn’t have a car. To do the hiking trails, it’s better to have a car. I was told there is only one Uber driver in Sedona. There are “concierge” taxi drivers and info/tour desk next to check in desk has some reliable contacts."

"Orchards Inn is always great. The only issue I had was with the shower. We were in the 2 queen room. The shower had an immovable glass panel and a glass door. The door was located on the opposite side of the shower head. So you couldn’t turn it on without being in there already. Who wants to stand in cold water until it warms up? I tried huddling into the corner by the shower head but it was ridiculous I had to do that and I still got cold water on me. Other than that it was a good stay."
