“The positives - The hotel is just far enough out of the hustle and bustle and is nice and quiet. Great pool, and Poppy the Manager is really really lovely. The main bedroom was clean, and the rooms are huge and spacious. There is good coffee at the 'Good Neighbour' across the road (although expect to pay Aus prices) and beautiful meals at the Dream Villa's just down the road. There is also a little convenience shop and laundry 5 minutes walk away. The negatives - I would have given 5 stars……

“We enjoyed our stay at Beji Ayu and found it clean, spacious and reasonably convenient for walking to shops, warung and even the beach (a bit of a hike but a simple route and interesting). It was surprisingly peaceful. The outlook across the river is a bit shabby but it didn't bother us. The real treasure is the lovely staff, Henry was a legend and we were sad to say goodbye!”
