“The Talbot is a home from home. You are made to feel extremely comfortable and welcome, nothing is too much trouble and the service is second to none.
The food is amazing, the location is central to Wexford town and the view across the Quay is beautiful and peaceful. The rooms are so relaxing and have the most comfortable quality furniture from the beds down to the pillows and seating in the room. The towels are large and fluffy. The toiletries are of good quality and the teas and coffees in……
“Overall experience was nice that the surroundings and leisure club are pretty good. The thing we didn't expect is that there are some stairs going down to the room that we need to carry the luggage ourselves, which is not notified when booking. Also the air smells moldy in the corridor downstairs. But the room itself is tidy and clean.”
“I asked in advance months ahead of my visit for a walk in shower as got mobility problems and one was not made available. … very disappointed as gave them plenty of time to provide one, hence unable to shower prior to a family wedding. My visit was split and second half was provided with walk in shower, appreciated but couple days late. How much notice does one have to give ??”
“Basic accommodation in a building separate from the pub. My room smelt a bit weird. The shower lacked vigour and could not be detached from the wall. The staff were good.”
“Glandarragh Inn was a great introduction to Ireland as it's where I spent my first night
I would maybe recommend a bike shed to attract more motorcyclists as the car park has plenty of space
the wood fired pizza oven was very attractive and I ended up having a diavolo pizza alongside a guinness in the evening
Staff were friendly and helpful
it's a shame that early morning breakfast options were not available for those travelling long distances the next day but I understand that can often be the……
“Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. We were looking forward to a quiet stay, but as we went out for……
“Tucked behind the Pub with a few other rooms. No noise from the pub though. We had lots of fun and met some very nice locals in the pub. Grocery right across the street was great for breakfast and snacks.”
