“bathroom would not work right and no one ever showed up to help I was told at front desk I coud have just called from room to report this but phone didnot have a cord attached to phone”

“The staff was exceptional, great hospitality! The room had several minor issues, shower door didn’t stay closed, vanity was missing a leg, power bank on one side of the bed didn’t work, a random ballon was on the ceiling(granted we didn’t notice it one of the staff did while trying to get the power bank to work) bar and restaurant was out of multiple items.”

“The hotel was not what I expected. It was not in a great area of Richmond with no drugstore or coffeeshops (that we found) around the hotel..everything we wanted to see was a cab ride ($20) away. The room was large but not any hooks in the bathroom except in the shower! And water went all over the floor while showering. BUT we loved Richmond and will be back. Just not at the Quirk.”

“Poorly maintained facilities, air condition was broken as well shower head don’t work. Complain about problem. Was told they will fix it. But for our three days of stay, despite complaining every day, no one came and fix the shower or air condition.”

“Jeffrey was the best host. This is a beautiful property which is obviously lovingly maintained. The building is so pretty and has multiple sitting areas outside of your room (which was also great). I have dietary restrictions and Jeffrey and others made sure to have snacks for me to enjoy during the wonderful nightly happy hours and delicious options for breakfast. This area was also fun to explore and Jeffrey gave us very good pointers on where to go.”

“The place was clean and spacious. The hallways reeked of pot but the room itself did not. There is theoretically one off-street parking spot, but you'll never get it. The street parking is okay. The neighborhood itself is pretty downtrodden, you aren't going to want to walk around looking for food. But a short drive toward downtown gets you to a nicer area, or a short drive the other way gets you to the highway and the next exit away from downtown has lots of food and shopping. I would……
