It is the most northern part of Alps which rises over 2.000 meters of altitude. There are basically no lifts in the Hochschwab, so you can enjoy it in its natural state. In September the weather is quite stable (although quite windy and freezing in the morning in the top parts) and only few tourists which get such rewarding views for the pain of hiking it by own feet. Mülltüten waren nur die im Mülleimer vorhanden wie auch keine Küchenrolle und ein Schwamm der schon benutzt war, nur kleine Pfannen vorhanden die total kaputt waren. Toiletten waren sauber und Toilettenpapier ausreichend da. It is the most northern part of Alps which rises over 2.000 meters of altitude. There are basically no lifts in the Hochschwab, so you can enjoy it in its natural state. In September the weather is quite stable (although quite windy and freezing in the morning in the top parts) and only few tourists which get such rewarding views for the pain of hiking it by own feet.
