Hi Nalini, I appreciate your feedback but there is one bathroom for the males and one for the females. Each of these bathrooms have 2 toilets and 2 showers in them. The hotel is 120 years old and has been renovated so its unfortunate that you have given us a 1 out of 5 only. We do make it clear that its shared bathrooms.

Hi, Sorry the hotel wasn’t what you expected. I’m glad you found our staff friendly, they always are. We are always very clear in stating on all booking sites that the rooms do not have bathrooms and there are shared bathrooms at the end of the hallway. These bathrooms are professionally cleaned and always kept clean. It’s also clearly stated that we do not have air con, thought we do supply fans for all rooms. We very rarely have issues with ants or insects in the rooms, and it has only ever happened when guests have kept open food packets or wrappers in the room. Now to address the other unnecessary comments. You were probably the only person there as it was a Wednesday night, the hotel is full every Friday and Saturday night with the vast majority of our guests being very happy with their stay. As you said, you probably didn’t read the information properly so perhaps you may might want to read up on where you are staying first instead of going for something more affordable and then complaining it doesn’t have the everything you want in a Hotel that is twice the price.

Hi Douglas, Sorry the light was out. If you told us at the time we would have fixed it immediately. We check the common areas for things like this daily so it must have just happened. In regards to the showers, they run off the same system so not sure what happened but i assure you its fine now
