“Pros- close to activities, cute home, large outdoor area, supplied coffee & variety of shower soaps. Great water pressure in shower. Fire pit was nice, need to take kindling. Bathrobes provided. Cons- stairs are treacherous. Railing is not attached properly. Weeds are taking over property. Walkway is hard to walk on. AC unit works but VERY loud right beside bed. We were only allowed 1 towel & 1 washcloth for 3 night stay. I asked for more, was told no. Had to sweep patio and clean outdoor……

“Great stay! Wonderful property!”

“We had a lovely get-away! Really enjoyed ourselves.”

“Wonderful cabin! Hot tub was great. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out if you have a large group or kids.”

“Wifi was a little bit unreliable. But other than that this is one of our best experiences in a VRBO”

“We enjoyed our 4 night visit at The Cabin at Alta Vista. The cabin is a relaxing home away from home. There are so many personal touches the owners leave for their guests. The sunroom was our favorite place to hang as a family and work puzzles and play board games. The cabin is close to towns if you want to explore, but it's a wonderful space if you're looking for a rental to stay and recharge!”

“Beautiful, well managed property. Quiet lake, rustic log cabin feel with modern amenities.”

“We had an amazing stay. It was the perfect layout for our family situation, comfy, cozy, with enough room to spread out as well. The view is stunning, absolutely gorgeous!!! I spent many hours on the deck just looking out, so beautiful!!!”

“Our group was in the area for the Virginia Wine Country half marathon. The house was close to the race and had everything we needed for meal prep. We enjoyed the hot tub post race!”
