"We went for my wife's 40th birthday with multiple families with kids. It was a perfect venue and stay that was closer to the Liberia airport vs Fortuna. We had Tucans on the property, parrots, and plenty of beautiful birds. There is enough distance from each of the villas that gave you some privacy, but close enough to also feel together easily. "Beautiful view that you can't get enough of! Overall we have very few complaints of the property. I would recommend you take the road around through Monterrey and La Fortuna versus up through the mountains. The two restaurants close by are amazing. Overall we loved our stay"

"Beautiful property. We were there during a heat wave. The only AC is the attic room with 1 twin and 2 futon beds. It is a duplex, but it is huge. The garage is communal, but you have your own washer and dryer."

"The Sloth Suite at Birdsong Villas was fantastic! Although the rain and fog didn’t allow us to see the volcano, the grounds and property were beautiful. Agustin was wonderful to work with - communications were speedy and welcoming. The Phoenix restaurant on the hill and El Patio at the bottom of the hill were great options for dinners during our short stay. Convenient proximity to La Fortuna and the surrounding activities."

"This property had everything we needed as we set out to explore the lake Arenal and surrounding area of Costa Rica. The porch was perfect for morning coffee and reading a book. The property was clean and easy to get to. It was a bit of a drive to a lot of activities but it was so nice to have a secure, quiet place to come home to each day. Highly recommend for one or two couples."
