“This is a truly a magical place. It is close enough to the Arenal touristy area but private and tucked away in nature. You will not only be in clouds but also above the clouds sometimes and hear the rain below!The one thing people might note is that the road to this place is not fully paved. So the access is a bit bumpy. But if you are truly looking for a remote place it comes with the package. The host is super responsive and helpful. “We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu……

“My family of 4 had such an incredible time hanging out in the heated pool at the home with the spectacular views overlooking the Monteverde Cloud Forest, that it was tough to find inspiration to leave the property to go do other things. The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you might need. Also pretty rare to find a two bedroom with two king sized beds. The beds are extremely comfortable and we slept soundly. There are automated black out shades too. My sons enjoyed……

They were very helpful in helping book our local activities and tours! The house itself is in a great location, though a little further from the city center (which we were ok with!). It is well-stocked and had plenty of space for our family of 6 to be comfortable and spread out! Although it rained most of the time, when it was clear the volcano views……

“I recently stayed 3 nights at Villa Floresta Monteverde, and it was a fantastic experience. The villa is located in a very quiet area, offering complete privacy—you don’t notice the neighbors at all. The accommodation is modern, beautifully furnished, and features a lovely terrace and an amazing hot tub. The host was very friendly and communicative. However, one minor issue was that I only received the location details about 2 hours before the check-in time, which caused a bit of last-minute……

“We loved our stay here. You can’t ever get over the view of the volcano. Perfect distance from activities and the town. Diego was always so responsive to my questions. Cleaning crew came daily to straighten up and take out the trash. The villa was well appointed and spacious. Pool is plenty big to cool off after a long day and we enjoyed our hot tub! ”
