Piel de Carnaby - Increíble Albany Australia Occidental

Carnabys Hide es una casa de acero de dos pisos enmarcada en lo alto de la escarpa entre Mira Mar y Lake Seppings en Albany. Con una ubicación ideal, tiene vistas al lago Seppings al King George Sound y tiene fácil acceso a Middleton Beach, el lago, el campo de golf Golflinks y Emu Point. El nombre Carnaby’s Hide hace referencia a una especie local de aves en peligro de extinción para crear conciencia y también por la cercanía al santuario de observación de aves del lago Seppings. El alojamiento tiene alrededor de vegetación natural en forma de patas de canguro y árboles de hierba. Hay un camino de asfalto que abastece a dos autos y suficiente espacio adicional en el césped en el frente para cualquier vehículo adicional.

Ve a dormir viendo la luna salir sobre el agua y despertar a la salida del sol sobre la playa de Middleton. La vista desde el dormitorio principal es espectacular mirando a través de las copas de los árboles desde el punto emu hasta la calva.

A fabulous location, peaceful and with lovely views. A lovely house which was neat and clean.

Great location, very peaceful! Neat, clean house, although a little short on some crockery and cutlery. Lovely balconies with beautiful views in a very quiet neighbourhood. Highly recommended by us!

January Holiday Break

Spacious home with everything you needed. Main areas were clean and beds were very comfortable. Exquisite views all around. Fan in the back room still filthy as people have commented before. Hot water in the bath was not working. I reported this and was not fixed.

Lovely but needs attention

Beautiful views, lovely place with key areas clean eg bathroom, toilets, kitchen. On the surface it’s lovely. Really need to ensure windows can be opened. One of the back rooms the window does not open so with back sun on the room it’s really hot and no air. I moved the fan into this room as daughter really hot (had fever too) but the fan was so filthy when turned on the dust and smell was quite revolting. The decorative pots in the lounge have rubbish in them, flyscreens and windows need a good clean. The warmer drawer in oven needs a good clean and the kettle needs descaling as despite the filter in kettle large chunks of scale were coming off in our hot drinks, not pleasant. It’s a tough one as it’s a beautiful spot, balcony and view lovely and overall it is nice accommodation but things that have been mentioned before are still not addressed. Magazines from 10/12yrs ago (which is great for retro history for your kids lol!) old wine and food in fridge/cupboards (which we cleaned out) and beds really hard. Owners really need to spend some time cleaning fully and addressing previous comments, windows etc. Unfortunately too there is a dog across the road that just barks incessantly so take some ear plugs!

Nice and quiet area away from the town

Enjoyed our stay in this nice cozy home away from home. Just minor issues like a leaking shower that echoes in the main bedroom and some molds in the shower as well which we did leave a note for the owner to fix.

Very clean, nice location with views

A very well appointed house with great views in a quiet area. Very clean. Close to some interesting walk trails. 3 bedrooms, good sized living area and full kitchen. Laundry. No airconditioning (but this is only an issue in Albany during hot summer days). Very steep driveway, lots of steps and internal staircase has no handrails - so not recommended for people with limited mobility.

Amazing location, slightly disappointed by the cleanliness

The house is in an amazing location with spectacular views. Unfortunately the overall cleanliness of the property was a little disappointing.. Hairs in the bath so we did not use it, leaking shower which disturbed our sleep and half used bottles of shampoo/ conditioner which we did not touch. The fridge was a little dirty, had a broken crisper and also contained an open iced coffee. Finally, the bed in the main room had a very noisy bed frame. On the positive side though, upon arrival the check in was easy and convenient. Also, the owner was very understanding and accomodating when we had to change our booking due to a Covid-19 related lockdown which was out of our control for which we were very grateful. Our overall stay in Albany was fantastic, great town to visit. Thank you.

Amazing stay

The views from the this accomodation were beautiful. The house was tidy. The house was equipped with heaters and heated blankets, Coffee pods & coffee and Everything needed. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Albany.

Wonderful warm house

A beautifully designed home with fantastic views out to the ocean. We are family of 5 with 2 elder teens. Winter time has you covered with heating, including the bedrooms. Kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery, pots and pans. Large oven and gas burners including wok burner. 5 min drive to the town centre. Great stay.
