We stopped for the night on our way to the UP. I used to stay here for work many years ago and was pleased to see the many upgrades, particularly the beds.

Nice motel. A little off the beaten path away from downtown but still really convenient to all amenities Alpena has to offer. Would recommend this motel. Clean room well maintained and priced right

Ok hotel. A bit noisy when the doors close, it’s more of a slam. Jacuzzi not warm/ hot. Breakfast was ridiculous… why offer one?

My stay at this hotel was definitely five stars. The room was so clean and it actually smelled clean. It was beautiful when I left for the day. I came home after work to a very cleaned up room. I didn’t expect new towels, wash sink. My bed was made, the floor was vacuumed, garbage was emptied. It was really sweet that they did this for just a two night and 2 1/2 day stay. They were very pleasant, very sweet customer service. The breakfast was very decent, and I will stay there again and again when I’m in town. Thank you

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The shower was very nice and we had lots of towels. All in all it was a good stay. I would have liked more seating in the room as we had four adults and 1 chair. However, we did not ask for more - so maybe it was available. A very decent and clean room with a comfortable bed. A good value compared to the other options available.

Very nice place. Kinda basic, but that’s okay. Parking was free (I think) and plentiful. Right next to Applebees, lol. Close to Walgreens, etc. not far from the vaunted shipwreck tour (the lake was too violent so we had to turn back!!!) Anyway, we liked everything well enough.

Pool and hot tub were nice to hangout in. Clean, plenty of chlorine so it was great for the kids. The room was clean , the beds were fine, but the whole place needs some maintenance.
