Perfect Eclipse Mini-Vacay
We originally happened upon this cabin when looking for a spot in which we’d be able to view the total eclipse. What we received was so much more! Not only is the natural beauty and opportunities for hiking beyond our expectations, so was the cabin and surrounding property. Autumn Lake is exquisite, and the cabin had everything we needed, an equipped kitchen, warmth from the fireplace, and a comfortable mattress. When we found that the Dutch oven was missing, Brian, the property manager, immediately brought one by. Many boats were available on the lake, and a kayak allowed for a fun trip to a beaver dam. The only thing I can think of that might have added to the comfort and ease of the well appointed and furnished cabin would have been some hooks for coats, towels, and bathrobes. I’m hoping that we find an opportunity to return one day!

Relaxing weekend get away
The cottage is cute, clean and just perfect for a couple! It has everything you need, except the food, of course!! The only issue we had; which wasn't really an issue, we blew a fuse and it was reset right away. The only suggestion to the owners would be to put blinds in the little windows to keep the morning daylight from waking you early!! We really enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing time we had!

Another relaxing visit to Autumn Lake
I'm glad I decided to come back. I enjoyed the same calm and relaxing atmosphere I had last year. It looks like several upgrades have been made to organize the beach area and so it accomidates larger groups and is inviting for people to come and relax throughput the day. I spent my time on the water and enjoyed meeting a few other guests around the lake. I do avoid going to town, despite the excitement of someone else's post. I'd recommend not giving that 'signs' guy any attention.

Great Little Spot for Cozy Getaway
We had plans cancel on us at the last moment so we decided since we had made all of the accommodations for our kids and pets to be taken care of for the weekend that we wouldn't waste the opportunity to have some Mommy/Daddy alone time. So we found this little gem on VRBO and we were both very happy with it. It was easy to find, clean and the check in and out process was great. Unlike the add stated, the internet was excellent and it was much better equipped then we thought it would be. We sat at the beach in the morning and had our coffee on the dock, it was very relaxing. A very nice place for a weekend getaway with the spouse. NOTE: for Canadians or anyone else that is not from the US looking to take in the entire American experience, dont miss the full on lunacy on display about 5km away from the cabin in the middle of the town in Altamar. There is some crazy there who has an absolute gong show of signs along his property that had us laughing our heads off. The site would make the craziest of crazies blush

Autumn Lake Retreat
We were looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay between a few fishing charters we booked in Pulaski. This cabin was so much more than we expected. It was easy to get to, and the views over autumn lake in the evening were spectacular! We were so grateful for private dock space. This really is a gem. Thank you for having us.

Another wonderful time!!!
This is my second time there. Last time I came with my husband for our anniversary stayed in cottage number two this time I brought my niece for a couple days get away. this time we stayed in cottage number three beautiful place. We had a wonderful time!!! even got in some paddle boarding in on the reservoir. Definitely will be booking another trip in the future!

Charming cottage community
Had a pleasant stay. Cottage was comfortably furnished and decorated. Had almost everything I needed. Do bring ice or ice cube trays. It wasn’t as brightly lit as the pictures indicate online, but the a/c made up for that. Also the laundry for housekeeping is in the same building on the other side of the wall and can be noisy during the day. But overall a good place to stay. The lake is inviting either for swimming or boating. I definitely want to go back.

Honeymoon Gift
I rented this for a family friends daughter and new husband as a quick honeymoon getaway. This is their response…. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding. It was a beautiful touch. Cabin 3 was booked as a surprise honeymoon for us and it was perfect! The property is secluded on its own little lake that has plenty to offer including kayaks/other boats, fishing, swimming and the ATV/Snowmobile trail right there! If you’re looking for the perfect place to enjoy, relax and unwind- this is your place!! Very clean and well kept, and extremely family/pet friendly. We did not want to leave! These cabins are only a short drive to Pulaski, Alex Bay and other great locations. Highly recommend!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will be bringing our kids back to spend time here!

More than I expected💗
Beautifully secluded area near major fishing areas and less than 15 minutes from Pulaski. Super quiet, perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. My only regret was not staying longer😞 Everyone around had dogs so I was very happy I brought my babies along. Lake is great for fishing, excellent top water action which I enjoyed very much, minus the mosquitoes and biting flies😅 All in all, one of the best places I’ve been for relaxing

Nice place to get away from it all. Fishing, kayaking, hiking... etc. are all available on site or within minutes. The community is very friendly. The cottages are well kept and clean. I had everything I needed to cook all my meals on site. I'd go back in a heart beat. Best rental I have ever had.

Amazing Little Retreat for Rest and Relaxation
I booked this cabin as a place to stay, relax/unstressed and I actually ended up with even more than I could have hoped for….this cabin was AMAZING! It was very clean and well kept. When I first got there and walked in my jaw dropped with how cute it was. I kind of regret not booking it for a longer time period but definitely plan on coming back. It has the cutest little kitchen/living room/bedroom layout and the back porch looks over woods with a fire pit hangout in the backyard. The owner was quick to respond to anything I asked and messaged me back right away. The whole cabin area was quiet and peaceful, no loud parties or night time noises to disturb anyone. My dogs were so relaxed that even they were quiet the whole time we were there. The only thing I can suggest to anyone visiting this cabin is to pay close attention to the exit to the cabin if driving late at night because there is little light pollution, which is another bonus.

A welcome respite
We came here a few years ago and loved it. This second trip was only better. The property is beautiful- well maintained and naturally picturesque. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect between hiking trails, parks, and waterways for kayaking and fishing. We were able to unwind, reconnect as a family, and create some wonderful family memories. Can’t wait to come back!!!

Great Spring Getaway
My husband and I were looking for a few days to get away with our 5 year old lab. This property was the perfect location. The cabin was clean beyond our expectations and very cozy. We had no problems at all and only saw the owner because he was there doing some spring clean up. We will definitely go back.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful cabin on the lake!
From checkin to checkout the entire stay was entirely pleasant. The entire area was clean, well kept, and rather secluded. The cabin itself was comfortably sized for a couple. The lake was essentially at the cabin. Could not have been more pleased with our stay! The cabin itself is situated between several other cabins, but has a view of the lake from the kitchen window. The lake itself is down a walkway from the cabin. Many amenities were provided, pots and pans, kayaks and row boats, a bbq grill with propane, and clean bedding are the most notable of the amenities. The lake on which this cabin is located is beautiful. There are many quiet coves to rest in, as well as many beautiful sights. It is rather quiet and secluded, it is easy to get away from everyone and enjoy the solitude of nature. This is absolutely a worthwhile stay.

The Absolutely Most Relaxing Vacation we have EVER Had!
The cabin is exactly what we wished for and exactly as described. Our blind diabetic dog was able to relax safely with us and feel comfortable and safe. My disabled (cane dependent) hubby was able easily move around the location. We were easily able to explore the waterfront. Our sole purpose for this stay was to relax and this place made it possible. We had everything we needed and could ever want. I did get a moment to wander out and explore the awesome Salmon River Falls. Our Host was very easy to reach and we were able to add an extra days stay at a moment's notice (of course this was based on availability). We enjoyed our stay so much that we will include this trip in our trip rotations and plan to book the same cabin in the future!

Short drive from the Salmon Creek Reservoir, great diner in town, visited another DEC forest and Selkirk State Park for snowshoeing and skiing. Great quiet retreat to the woods. Property clean - well stocked kitchen. Driveway plowed and walkways shoveled.

Autumn Lake Stay
We rented cabins one and three. Cabin one is not laid out well at all. They should be screen doors on the sliding glass doors the flies kept coming in constantly and it was very annoying. The air conditioner made a lot of noise. The stove was way too small. The shower way too small. So all in the wall cabin one needs a lot of work. Cabin three was a lot nicer than cabin one my daughter stay there. Of course it would’ve been a lot nicer if she had a view of the lake. The lake is self is beautiful. There should be a path to the lake from the cabins. Anyone even with a slight disability would never make it down to the lake from where the cabins are situated. The robots need to be totally refurbished. There should be some swimming tubes in additions to the canoes and kayaks and row boats. We had a very nice time because our family was together. However cabin one needs a lot to be desired. It should be refurbished. But the lake itself autumn lake is stunning and beautiful. One more thing which is not your fault but the rooster that one of your neighbors owns is awful all day long when you’re trying to sit at the lake and relax that rooster doesn’t stop. Additionally I woke my daughter up several times in cabin one. All right think that’s enough right

The cottage does have updated tile around the shower in 2020. Our cottage has a granite countertop for prep and you may always use the table for prep space as well. The kitchen is just as pictured and I feel it's perfect for two.

The property was good for our use. We used the lake a few times and was very enjoyable. Property had a musty smell that was unpleasant, but overall was OK. Property needs updating, tile in bathroom to control water from shower, front door and rear slider sticks a bit, needs an island with 2 seats instead of table will allow for more prep space when cooking. Gas stove would be nice, it was hard to cook on electric stove. Overall nice space, nice little area around cabins, good access to lake activities.

Very comfortable cottage & secluded in woods. Quiet area. After selecting it, got 3 emails from owner with extreme rental agreement -12 pages.& many add-on fees. Cottage not right on lake but up a hill with no view of lake, blocked by other cottages.
