This place is heaven on earth. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We stayed with our 2 boys, 8 and 5, and they had an amazing time as well. You cant help but take in the tranquility, views, and peace that this cabin brings. Doves Rest was exactly what our family needed for a family getaway for Spring break. We loved visiting Palo Duro Canyon State park. A nust visit

Beautiful Getaway!

The Fortress cabin and views of Palo Duro Canyon were absolutely beautiful. The starry nights were my absolute favorite. So, glad my husband picked this place for our extended 28th Wedding Anniversary weekend getaway. Suzanne was a pleasure to work with. We will be back.

Great stay!

It’s hard to put into words just how beautiful the views were from the back patio! Pictures of the sunrises, sunsets, and the canyon itself do not it justice. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, well-furnished, and had great personal touches (including robes to use with the hot tub). We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will be back!
