Experience lakefront solitude at Casa del Lago! This lovely home sits on a large piece of land, perfect for getting away from it all with your friends and family.

Imagine your drive away from town into the beautiful hilly cabins surrounding Canyon Lake. The stress melts away. Casa del Lago greets you with sweeping lake vistas, ample yard space, lakefront swimming and fishing, and comfortable accommodations for your Canyon Lake getaway. Ahhh..

Casa del Lago is a tremendous lakefront value. Lakefront properties on the clear blue waters of Canyon Lake are few and far between. Spend your getaway sipping a beverage on the breezy porch, playing ping pong, grilling with a view, resting under the shady oaks, fishing from the shore, or splashing and swimming in the refreshing lake waters. Bring your float, your floaties, your favorite lounge chair, and your cowboy hat, and have a relaxing and lazy day without ever leaving the house. Sitting on a half-acre, Casa del Lago is a perfect place for letting the kids play outside and take in the Great Outdoors. If getting on the lake is why you're coming, the driveway has ample room to park your vehicle and boat, and the nearest boat ramp is less than a half-mile away.

****PLEASE NOTE: Water levels in Canyon Lake fluctuate due to drought and other environmental factors. While we strive to provide accurate information, lake conditions can change and may impact water access at this property.

Inside you'll find a comfortable open living area, with cable television, Google Chromecast and WIFI, 1.5 baths, and plenty of seating. Dining in? The fully equipped kitchen has all the kitchen essentials needed to prepare a great meal. A charcoal grill is available for guest use if burgers, dogs, or steaks are on the menu. The master bedroom offers a cozy queen and half bath. The second bedroom can host another couple or be used as a bunk room for the kids- it has both a queen bed and two twins.

Lastly, the location just can't be beat. Even though you'll feel miles away from it all, Casa del Lago is located right around the corner from the nearest boat ramp, Canyon Lake Golf Club, and Comal Park. Plus, you're only minutes away from the nearest town and Guadalupe River tubing access.

You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy at all times for this home is 6 guests. We manage several nearby rental properties and therefore often have cleaning staff in the area. Please come and have a good time, but be aware that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive to surrounding neighbors will result in you forfeiting the remainder of your stay.

Great, quiet place on the lake

This place was such a cute place on the lake. Very clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved going down to the lake and fishing. It was quiet and perfect for the refresher that we all needed!

This home at Canyon Lake was what we needed to relax and recharge. We would definitely stay here again. There are a lot of deer in the area. Drive Safely!

Perfect for what we needed

Overall this was a great property. It was well maintained, clean, well stocked, and had clear instructions for everything. Only thing is I wish they would have been up front about how far the lake actually is right now with the water levels being low. We booked this property based on it being waterfront, however it is actually .37 mile walk to the lake.

We had a great little getaway with our family.

Easy to get into and use. Easy to clean up. We were able to get to New Braunfels and SanAntonio easily. We enjoyed local cuisine, had deer visiting frequently, fished on the edge of the lake, had a bonfire with s’mores and enjoyed some movies and games on a rainy day.

We loved staying in your lake house! We also enjoyed our daily breakfast and dinner guests in the form of a group of deer! Thanks for providing the deer corn and the additional entertainment! We also loved the peaceful setting and enjoyed sitting out on the porch drinking our morning coffee. The house was very well appointed, cozy, and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

Great Place on the Lake!

Cabin was great and nicely redone. Owners accommodated our larger group by allowing a travel trailer to park next to the house (without sewage connection). Great location! Nice swimming hole, and close to a boat launch. Just a few minutes to the river. Great selection of patio games including darts and ping pong. Owner had several other details provided that made for a great stay. Will definitely stay again.

Overall a great stay

Accomodation was well equipped with everything needed for cooking/grilling and having a great time together as a family with games, books, wifi and more. The deer outside the cabin everyday was the highlight of our kids trip. The beach area was further than we realized and a trek to get there with 5 kids in tow, especially with one on crutches, but it was not miscommunicated, we just thought our cabin sloped down to the water and it takes some maneuvering to get there. The cabin cleanliness was decent but could probably do with a deep clean of windows etc. Overall though a great stay and we would come back.

Quaint House with Lake Access

The property was fantastic. It had a great living space with plenty of room for the family. It is on a cul de sac so very safe for children if they want to ride their bikes outside. The neighbors were also very friendly and helped with local information. The one problem we had (which can't be controlled) is the lake level. We travelled 4 hours with our boat and all the near by ramps were closed. We had to travel about 15/20 minutes to the nearest ramp and there were so many people trying to utilize the ramp that it took over 2 hours of waiting.

Beautiful outside space!

We stayed here for a few days in spring break. The outside space is what I paid for and it delivered! It was so free and beautiful. We had picnics and flew kites. We tried to go fishing but our lines kept getting caught on rocks so we stopped. We told scary stories at night around the fire and my husband barbecued. We even had a family of deer visit us twice. There was deer feed right outside the sliding doors so that was fun for the children. The inside was small and cozy, and extremely clean. My only con would be the lack of amenities, but I'm sure that's a Covid thing. There was also no toaster that I could fine. Other than that though, they had pots, plates, cups and a coffee machine. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was a great way to disconnect and enjoy nature😊

Summer Vacation

This property is a hidden gem! We came to this region to enjoy the outdoors and beautiful lake, and this property did not disappoint. For a family of 4, the home was comfortable with room to relax and let our kids play. The walk out deck provided beautiful lake views and lots of deer feeding/watching. We replenished the corn for the future guests to enjoy the little deer family like we did! The ground floor patio under the deck was a good shaded spot to eat, relax, and recharge with a nice breeze. Loads of outdoor games and water floats were a big bonus! Would have loved to use the fire pit, but there was a burn ban in effect so no open flames. The tree swing and chairs overlooking the lake was a nice spot in the evening as the sun set. But the best part was walking straight from the house, right to the lake edge for an easy swim/float in the beautiful blue water of Canyon Lake. Very quiet and calm area to swim and hang out in. We even paddled out to the boat ramp (maybe 100 yards) and explored the rocky ledge for cliff jumping and more swimming almost daily. We were very surprised with how quiet the area stayed, even in these peak summer weeks (didn’t notice many people going to the park or boat ramp). We did bring our boat and launched it at the park boat ramp ($20 fee for the day). It was fun to explore the lake, swim, and fish from the boat, but you are still able to do all of that right from the property. We would definitely stay here again! Perfect relaxing property with private lake access and in close proximity to many things to do in the hill country! Thank you again for sharing your home!

We enjoyed our visit. Sadly, the lake is so very low, so we did not get to enjoy much of that. The house was tucked back and quiet and was what we needed to get away and unwind for a couple of days.

Great getaway with lake access

We spent three nights here just after Christmas and really enjoyed the location, the walks to the shore, the deer roaming around (some coyotes at night). Very nice place for some relaxation and midway between LBJ and San Antonio, both of which we visited. Tue nearby Italian restaurant was a nice find and treat. Well run property. Thanks

Spring Break Getaway

Beautiful home on Canyon Lake. Sleeping arrangements were perfect for our family of 5. Many different activities to choose from without even having to drive anywhere. Swimming, fishing , kayaking, ping pong- this place had it all.
