While driving along Highway 49 in the Sierra Nevada foothills (Gold Country), Lynn and I came across these deer crossing the highway. They stayed around for awhile for some extra photos. Highway 49 is a 300 mile highway that travels the foothills connecting the Gold cities of the 1800's. This winding highway is a great road trip.

"The house is beautiful! Decorated so cute. Very spacious. Amenities…WOW! They have thought of EVERYTHING!! The downstairs game/theater room was a hit for our young adult kids (ages 15-22). "It took over an hour for me to be able to get into the cabin - wrong code for door. I received the correct code the next day. A door was left opened and that is how I was able to get inside - very unsafe. No napkins and no response. It took a little over 30 minutes to be able to get inside the community because of car check in. I was told parking was $40 per car and when I arrived it was $50.
