We stayed here and it was a lovely stay. Great food and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and supportive. Highly recommend staying here! The location is up on the hill but it’s great for being next to the cathedral, next to the brewery and from here you can start hiking across to see the views and into the wetland centre. We had a lovely time here and look forwards to
coming back again!
Had a great couple of nights here. The hotel is in a beautiful position right next to the Cathedral. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was varied and delicious. All the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Would absolutely recommend.
We had a lovely stay in the Cathedral room. Really comfy supporting bed and a quality fan in the room which was really appreciated in the heat. Staff were really friendly and lunch in the pub garden was lovely. Breakfast let it down a bit but if you’re happy with a small choice of cold food it’s fine.
Beautifully updated old pub. Room fresh, great bed, high quality fittings, super staff, great breakfast & super location. Enjoyed & will return. Parking a real bonus in this popular tourist destination.
Had such a lovely stay, great location, the staff were great, the room was perfect with a view of the cathedral... Had the best night's sleep, and as someone going through cancer I was very happy to see faith in nature products in the bathroom that smelled beautiful. Would definitely stay again.
The lovely staff really took care of us and most especially our dog . The food was really high quality and very tasty. Accommodation spot on for a night away. Can recommend both a bite to eat for lunch and the breakfast which was delicious.
