The air conditioner was the loudest air conditioner I have had. The shower would get so hot it would burn you and cause the smoke detectors to go off! Then on the wall you would see light fetchers about to fall off ! I would not stay there again! It was nice being near the boardwalk but food was nasty ! It was loud, and the front deck didn’t do anything about the issues I told them!

Having to carry bags and items up steps was a burden. Having an elevator and/or ramp would help. We did use the luggage cart but could only push it as far at the steps and then needed to carry suitcases, cases of water and other heavy items upstairs.

Property was just renovated for this season. Location was excellent. Bike rental place right across the street and no cross streets up to the boardwalk. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and shower was great. Nice touch with the courtyard but teenagers were very loud. Pool was very good and warm.

Overall was a nice stay for a quick getaway for a few days at the beach with my teens. The beach and boardwalk were so close it took only 3 minutes to get there. The downside is that the property has walls so paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING… from conversations in rooms next door or across the way to every sound made outside. That was the biggest downside to not make this property a 4 rating.

Close to boardwalk. Rude front staff. Can't use amenities until you're checked in, including beach tags and parking. Bed was really uncomfortable and limited towels which were low quality and hair in them. No coffee but small restaurant with limited hours on property. I wouldn't recommend compared to the other properties in the area that are more accommodating and friendlier.

We loved the updated rooms as this used to be the pavilion. Everything inside the room and bathroom was brand new. The beds were new and comfortable..plenty of space in the room, bathroom is large with a great shower. Around the hotel is clean, pool was great and very clean. Great location to access the boardwalk.

Overall this was a good place to stay. Clean, conveniently located, has a pool, good price, etc. I was disappointed that the free Wi-Fi is not secure, and the air conditioning wasn’t working well. We had to keep the temp down to 60 to keep the room cool. It needed the filter cleaned as well. I did report the AC not working and a broken shower door. Also, upon arrival we couldn’t find the entrance. Not where we expected. It’s on the adjacent street and hard to spot at first.

Overall, we did not like this property. Here are the things we did like about it: 1. They included beach tags for the beach & had plenty of parking on site. 2. The bathroom was remodeled recently & was very nice. 3. The room was clean. This is what we did not like: 1. The tv in the room was a Roku based television but was not hooked up. We reported the issue to the desk, & they told us to reboot the tv. When we did this, it still didn’t work. When I called the front desk, they had left for the night & nobody was there. After calling Best Western Customer Service, they hung up on me. If there would have been an emergency, there would be nobody there staff wise to help with guidance. 2. The room was not supplied with tissues, telephone or adequate lighting. Also, not many plugs to plug in chargers. 3. The air conditioner was not turned on when we entered the room & it was very hot. We turned the AC unit on max & it took over 10 hours to cool the room down. 4. Room was rather small. Barely had enough space to place luggage in the room. There was no room to fit any beach accessories in there (beach chairs, beach toys, beach bags etc) 5. The towels & washcloths felt like sandpaper. Overall I would not recommend this property. There were too many negatives over the positives.
