“This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. “Immaculate space. Owners very thoughtful with a lot of attention to detail and extra touches for guest comfort. We had a crazy schedule with being in town for a race and owner was very flexible about making sure we could get into property and even got up at an insanely early hour to have complimentary breakfast food available. ”

“Property and stay was beautiful! Road to the property was rough and full of deep holes. It was a private road and needed work, badly. Home was listed as two bedroom, but it was not. I enjoyed my stay so quiet and relaxing, even saw set up close. ”

“We stayed at this very nice home with 9 adults. Everything was what we needed to cook make coffee and not worry about sleeping arrangements again we’re above expectations. Pool as advertised was nice cool and refreshing hot tub was what we needed nice and clean. We barbecued on the great deck with a nice backboard view! Check-in was a breeze excellent communication. We would stay again and highly recommended! ”

“My teenager and I were in the Auburn area to do some hiking - we arrived after sunset and the host was very hospitable to show us to our lodging and around the property, which included a clean full bathroom and some sports equipment to enjoy with my son. Would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a glamping experience in a beautiful setting! ”
